Biltmore House - Asheville NC
-
If you are ever close to Asheville NC, I highly recommend you visit the Biltmore House Estate especially during the Christmas season. The House and the grounds are decorated so beautifully for Christmas and the history of the estate is very interesting. The grounds have a small farm with animals (goats, cows, chickens, horses) that they take care of, and it is nice to see them. There is also winery for taste testing and my wife and I like several of their wines. Several good restaurants on the grounds and it is so peaceful there. We went up there for our annual Christmas visit last week and it has become a tradition for us to start to celebrate the holiday season. We originally went up there years ago when my youngest daughter had a role in "The Nutcracker" with the Asheville Ballet and we were killing time during her rehearsals.

I would post pictures but all of them are too large to fit the requirements on this board. - oh well.

You should be able to resize them.
P.S. I’ve been to Biltmore House twice, but both times in the summer. It’s beautiful! -

@yankeefan2 Great photos! Wow - you are really tall! (or else your wife is really short!)
I would have to dig out my Biltmore photos and take pics of them with my iPad. So darn busy this week every day! But tomorrow will be quite worth it - I’m being paid a nice sum for a 1202 sq. foot permanent easement for a sewer line going in behind my home in which it backs up to the Yellow River. (really more like a creek back there) It will more than pay for my trip to Liverpool in August for Beatleweek! -
Thanks, glad you liked them. Would love to see your pictures when you have time. It is a combination of both (lol), I am a "smidge" under 6 feet 3 inches tall and my wife is 5 feet 1 inch tall. That is awesome getting that money which will pay for your trip. Well, got things to do and places to be so will make this short. Happy Easter!!
