      February 26th 1969 - David Henry Lennon born

      These are the secret brothers that tragic Beatle John Lennon left behind.

      For years the pair have shunned the limelight to lead ordinary lives on the south coast of England

      But neither can shake off the memory of the assassinated rock genius who became a legend.

      Last week Lennon again hit the headlines after it was revealed that he and fellow Beatle Paul McCartney recorded a secret session four years after the Fab Four split. But while music experts began a frantic hunt for the 1974 tape, David and Robin Lennon couldn't believe all the fuss.

      David, 28, works as a computer buff at an Internet restaurant in Brighton, East Sussex. Robin, 23, is unemployed and lives across the town at home with his mum Pauline Stone.

      John Lennon bought the house which overlooks the resort for his family nearly 30 years ago, paying £6,500.

      Pauline married John's father Freddie in 1968 after eloping to Scotland. David was born the next year and Robin in 1973.

      David told The People: "I used to get bothered by people asking about John. Now I just want to get on with my life and be known as myself.
