Yeah and they got George's birthday wrong. Not 1942. Mind you I haven't got my glasses on. Couldn't see the usual comment about John being "the eldest Beatle" ( when he's not) Ah! The good old days

Ha! Good catch! And they didn’t say anything about who was oldest, but they got John & Ringo’s birthdays correct, so obviously we can see Ringo is/was the oldest.

Yes, WE know Ringo is the oldest, but for some reason, maybe because the Beatles was John's band, reporters always seem to assume John is the oldest Beatle. Poor research on their part. One TV documentary, focusing on John's "obsession" with the number 9. Said it started on his birthday, 9.9.1940. Again poor research. Very poor. Shoulda been 9.10.1940. Well, it was either poor research, or they were trying to put a square peg ( metaphorically speaking ) into a round hole, by reinforcing John's "obsession" with the number 9, by deliberately getting his birth month wrong ( September being the 9th month of the year) and hoping nobody would notice lol!!! Another thing I have noticed, is some mostly younger fans, are trying to rewrite Beatles history, by saying Paul was the "co founder" of The Beatles. He wasn't. He was asked to Join via, John and Paul's friend, Ivan Vaughan.

Cool pic. Never seen John play the accordion before.
-
@oobu24 Does that look like a left-handed trombone to you?

@wandy You quoted a pic - they’re sure to delete it!

@njr No idea about left handed trombone.

If you compare the one Paul is playing to the one in the link I posted, it does kind of look like a left-handed trombone.

Never been in a forum like this before. You quote a photo and it gets deleted??? I think this is going to be my last comment here. From here on in, or out, I'm going to be a "lurker".
