This was taken in 1968 during the Yellow Submarine premiere,as you notice theres only three of them hereaul,Ringo and George posing with John's caricature. It looks quite creepy coz it seem to predict what was going to happen in the nearby future.Like a premonition, coz 12 years later, only the three of them were left when John was shot by Mark Chapman.

Could you tell me a bit about the St. Christopher medallion? Is it religious of some sort?

What's creepy too is the clock that happened to be captured in the pic as well over George's head, as if saying that his clock is also ticking. Shortly after John's death he fought with cancer for years until it claimed his life.

You're right, with that clock George did followed John in the afterlife.

I don't know much about it; I know that it was given to Ringo by his Aunt and also, in 1964, some fan stole it from him in America. He got it back though! There's audio of the radio program that found his medal here: http://www.musicradio77.com/beatles.html it also says on the site: The power of all of this was best illustrated when Ringo Starr lost his gold Saint Christopher?s medal which was attached to a chain around his neck. Apparently as he was entering the hotel, an over zealous fan inadvertently snatched it. Bruce Morrow and Scott Muni learned this while interviewing him over the air at the hotel. WABC listeners also heard this and so did the girl who had the medal, Angie McGowan. She had her mother call Cousin Brucie that night. But, program director Rick Sklar, ever the master promoter, could see the advantages of stretching out this drama a while longer. Even though WABC recovered the medal within a few hours, Rick arranged for the girl to stay overnight, safely secluded with her mother in a hotel room while the station continued to broadcast appeals for the medal's safe recovery. As you would expect, this became a media sensation and WABC held all the cards. By the time the following evening rolled around, everyone was listening to WABC to see if the medal would ever be recovered. Twenty-four hours after its initial loss and subsequent recovery, WABC reunited the medal with Ringo over the air. It was a publicity bonanza for the station. Here are some pictures of Ringo wearing it: http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e366/Yesterday64/Ringo%20Starr/8cf9ae9b.gif http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e366/Yesterday64/Ringo%20Starr/55f498b0.jpg http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e366/Yesterday64/Ringo%20Starr/5b310249.jpg http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e366/Yesterday64/Ringo%20Starr/386566d4.jpg http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e366/Yesterday64/Ringo%20Starr/617a631e.jpg I've never seen any pictures of him wearing it after around '66 so, I don't know if he still has it.
