Probably being held against his will by religious fanatics wanting "The Ring" from the finger of "The Bee-at-ul" for a ritual sacrifice. That's just a guess. Or maybe the other three sent him out for sandwiches.

Those are great pics!! That looks like George's dad next to him in the theater. Read that they were screening the Let It Be film. True? And the infamous bed of Yoko's!! Linda had more need to be in it than Yoko as she was almost 8 months pregnant then.

The sound system looks just a little bigger than the one for my am-fm eight track player in my first car (1966 Chevy Nova).

I don't think my 'first' car even had a radio! (my Dad's 1963 Studebaker Lark) The first car I owned at age 17 was a new 1972 Dodge Colt and it did have a radio. (the car cost just under $2000!!)

I bought my Nova for $400 in 1976-a year after high school. The sound system was $200. After the Nova fell apart, I took the stereo out and put it in my next luxury ride: a 1971 Ford Maverick. Not to digress further from the Beatles, I did listen constantly to the 1962-66 and 67-70 (Red and Blue in the album format) eight-tracks in those cars.
