I wrote this song a year ago — and it’s finally come to fruition. This song means so much to me because as a former educator, I felt the fear in my students’ eyes as well as my own in regard to gun violence. America has a real problem and this is why I wrote “Love Can Be.”
Red-masked blues
In sleeping hues
When the windmill chimed three timesTo the future land and
Colliding stances
Beliefs are not renewableTo the anthemed hearts
And battle scars
That leave a trail of blood you’ve yet to findPass it on or
Be the one to
Stop formidable uncertaintiesBut power is Grace
In a place with no face
To rip the insides out with a gunWatch the mainstayers
They’ll be at a loss for words
When your life depends on more than their thoughts and prayersSo take a seat, will you…
Be defeated or walk the road
Less traveled by?You can’t bid yourself from pain and sorrow
Love is all about the world we makeLove can be strange or
Love can be -
I wrote another song is anyone surprised?
Vallejo:
Down on sunrise boulevard
I thought I saw you
But I don’t get boredI found a new love
Someone to hold
Someone to tell me
I’m all he’s gotI found the water and the angels above
A man who knows what we need, push and shoveCause I’m a baby and he’s my heart
He’s the one that I got to get me a startI love that you got lipstick on
And love that you think when I’m gone
I ain’t thinking about youAnd I love you when
Up the door and out the gates
We were running for our lives but you didn’t seem to careCause you found me and I found you
Someone to love me
Someone to tell me
He’s all I gotSo I crossed down to Vallejo with skips on my feet
I was winding up a big one for worries I could not defeatTip the poor boy he’s waiting on his knees
He just needs a job, some money, or a place to be freeOh, and how could you just turn him away?
Up the door and out the gates
We were running for our lives but you didn’t seem to careCause you found me and I found you
Someone to love me
Someone to tell me
He’s all I gotSo when I crossed down to Vallejo I had skips on my feet
I was winding up a big one for the worries I cannot defeatSo I’ll tip the poor boy who's waiting on his knees
He just needs a job, some money, or a place to be freeOh, and how could you just turn him away?

Beauty Is:
G6 Dm Em E7 A7 ABeauty marks
Beauty scars
It’s all the same to meBeauty is art
But beauty can start
a war with a look
Oh, to be freeBeauty pains,
but beauty is made
Like a frame that keeps you trapped insideAnd beauty is
the one to tell us
What we’ll want
Oh, to be neededBut beauty is like
A storm in the rain
Covered up by surpriseAnd beauty will wait
And beauty will shake
The world with a glance
Oh, to be seen -

Radio Silence (Never at All)
Capo 3
C/G G6 Am ETried to look back
Tried to take the heat
But there’s something crazy about you
I had to stand defeatedAll my nights have led to this moment
All my rights and wrongs have fled to you
All I can do isStop, wait and listen for the thunder to shake
For you to take my body and break it all I’ll find you and
Leave it all behind
For meF C/G G Am E
What are you doing to me?
So blind I cannot see
When you hold me close
All of my memories
Fade to light and I’m done shaking
All you can do is find me waiting
For youRadio silence
Haven’t heard from you in weeks
I love the violence
Til I’m praying on my kneesTake the wheel and drive it to tomorrow
Off the shore and shaking off all the sorrow
Leave me stranded and the deer will find the headlights and
I’ll be wakingBridge:
And I’m not sorry that I found you on the boulevard of crazy
I trusted, and I found that you would find me at the latest
Mystery it’s all a blur in time
Waiting is a foolish grime
And I’m not sorry, no I’ll say it again, I’m not sorry for the way I woke you up to play pretend
I had to cut it loose but all my body’s breakingI need some peace. I need some love. I need some guidance from above.
But I cannot feel the same way I did when I was 17.
I’ll drop a bomb I’ll drop a Dove.
I’ll drop a stereo of love but
don’t f**k with my inner world
my inner worldAnd if you need me
I’ll come running
Oh, down the road
And if you call me
I’ll always hear your voiceThe sound the noise
The phrases and the joy
The unkept way you mark your words to say
See you next time or never at all
Never at all
Never at all
Never at allRadio silence haven’t heard you in weeks

Cosmic Design
Capo 5
Em G6 C/GWe throw away diamonds and gold
Ignore all the things we are shown
Carelessly we jump for the boneBlind faith we can’t see
Can we be more than the things were sold
For the hearts and the words are exchangedC/G G6
But you know something?
We can hold on to one thingCut from brains of the same
Threads of life we will take to the graveThis is our cosmic design
Can we rewindLearning from what we know
is a heart that we see, it is braveBridge:
What if lack of and high up
Were sharing a seat together?
What if blind faith were seeing straight
Could we finally work together? What if?
What if?
What if?
What if?This is our cosmic design
Can we rewindLearning from what we know
is a heart that we see, it is brave -
I visited the slot machines at Atlantic City & wrote this poem.
Monsoons of crazy disastrous slot machines
A mirror for mankind
Technologically advanced
Simple in mechanismT-shirt, shorts
I walk to observe
I am a stranger
Nor do I judgeMillions of outcomes
Only one comes to completion -
For a Change: song
G Cadd9 A7 F
What is circumstance
when love is in your hands? How to tell the world
you're on your own? What if life is more
Than rising on the shoreCan we meet again someday
I don't know"No questions asked" are afraid
Raise your hand and say,
"Can we belong or forfeit reason
for a change?"For a change
can we change
something good?will we change
or will we stay
misunderstood?Let there be change
or you will pray
for something goodBridge:
& it won't come knocking
it'll race over time
like a horse on a mission
it's listening through the vinewhat the master said
do the master do
only you can make up for mind
for youNever wait for the strike
of the match to fall
for the fire warns when
the night does callFor a change can we change something good?
Will we change or will we stay misunderstood? Will we stay understood or add the "mis"
For a change can we change something good?Let there be change
or you will pray
for something good -
Sassafras:song
Sassafras, morning grass
we all do things we "shouldn't do"but what about the paper bag
we hold so intently on to?we're scared of money
scared of fame
but then we get it and we're sanewhat can we hold on to?
how about... sassafras, morning grass
the rhyming poets
or the trashit don't matter as long as we get there
in one pieceNo broken bones
but what about the paper bag
we hold on to?Bridge:
I am a traveler, looking for love,
hold me close, then set me free like a dove
wandering free, I don’t expect too much
because I am a traveler forsaken and my loveSassafras, morning grass
we all do things we "shouldn't do" -
Do or Die! - Song
Acid, acid
read all about it
listening to the news
has a dandy priceBut dancing, dancing
skate away and fancy
harbouring on hues
is a risky lifewho started the war?
who ended the night?who told the birds
they had to come down and fight
on their own?It was the plastic, acid
the plastic and no fasting
listening to your shoes
has a horrid pricefor dancing, dancing
in your shoes that
are made of goldwhen the earth is waiting for you
to pay your tollso who started the war?
who ended the night?
who told the birds
they had to come down and fight
on their own?it was me
it was you
it's the millennials of dying
in this century blueit's time
do or die!fighting for a life is only good
when you're on the line -- all aloneso it's time! do or die!
the acid, acid
we read all about it
stand in line to suffer
but the world is on a buffer& we're dancing, dancing
in shoes made of elastic
listening to your shoes
has a horrid priceit's on me
it's on you
the millennium blue
will centuries find us to be true?& it's time
do or die!it's on me
it's on you
check your life
check your shoesit's time
do or die!you, you
me, me
we, all
see
there's something to do& I, I
see, see
we, can
bea vision of kind
but what if we were more
then the things we resign to?could you, you
& me, me
see
there's something to do?cause I see
we, can be
a vision of kindwhat if all of the things that we adore
were all at our front door?would we still be kind?
I say someday
that looks won't be the find
to being very kindbe your heart and use your mind
cause I see
that we can be
a vision of kindwe don't need to rewind
forget the pastforget the past, would you
could you for mecause there's something I see
& it's time
do or die -
What’s Been On My Mind:
C/G F A7I got nowhere to go
I hope that you’re there tooMy dad’s gon lose his house
Social security ain’t coming throughWe’ve got a buck for dinner
Some milk, eggs tooWhat do we have to show for it?
Other than one or twoYou’re alone in this world
Til someone pulls you outRougher than the diamonds
They’ll cut you with no doubtI’m a sailor sailing on
Can I see the tides? One to hold and two to show
What’s been on my mindWe hardly pay for nothing
A lick or bottom throughLoving all the chaos
Is just a way to be trueAnd I’m tired of the fighting
Can’t we just move on?Cause I’ve got one to hold and two to show
For what’s been on my mind(This poem came to me in a strange dream)

I had a lot of fun making this. I love strange productions with weird sounds. It's about the healing you do for a lifetime.

This song is about psychic visions being clearer and yearning for someone you could love.
Harder to breathe
And harder to see
Til I found youMaking a wall
Putting up drawings
I’ve seenLovers abide
And I’m by your side
All the whileLet’s play “believe”
Because for once I can see
I need youLoneliness cuts deep
When I cannot beWhat I’ve been told
Is not for meCutting up wires
Tomorrows a shy one
To be freeBlue dark and bruised
Am I a fool?
For wanting you?I don’t want to see
If you cannot seeLoving is hard
But loneliness scars
Can we make believe?Cute for once I can see
For once I can see -
hey guys <333
The last song in my movie-musical is called "HEALING IS A LIFETIME," and I wanted to share it on here because it means so much to me.
My healing journey, I've found, is never-ending. we can get to a place where we feel better or "healed" but it truly is a lifetime. there's never a clear ending but that's completely okay.
I've healed from Bipolar & CPTSD but I still struggle with anxiety and a ton of intrusive thoughts that people hate me or I'm not good enough. You're not alone in feeling this way, trust me.
sometimes it feels like, for me at least, that everyone will hate me if I make a mistake, when the world is actually pretty kind. I sometimes take my healing so seriously because I feel not good enough and wonder if others feel the same way.
I've been bullied my whole life and sometimes I feel like if I make mistakes, I'll be punished when that's not the case. being human is making mistakes.
Lyrics:
healing is a lifetime
but which way do I go?
they say run fast for your life, now
don't trip up or we'll knowhealing is a lifetime
do I learn to sing and grow?
oh, ill tell stories of my past lives
watch the new ones turn to fireOh, I've learned healing is a lifetime
It's not a thing to gain or hold
you take it day by day with what you know
& hope someday you'll finally show...that healing is a lifetime
healing is a football field
run the track til you can't breathe
round and round, each time you'll never know
where you're going or where you'll fallpick it up and you'll see gravity
standing right in front of me
healing is not linear, baby
it's reaching out for the things that are crazyyou'll know...
that healing is a lifetime -
