Got the stereo box set, Beatles Trivial Pursuit and "Paul McCartney: A Life" book for Christmas! I also got this book "The Mammoth Book of the Beatles: An Anthology of landmark interview, first-hand accounts and memories of the Fab Four". It's a compilation of newspaper and magazine articles through the years.

Since I still can't afford Remasters, I decided to gift myself with some books: Jude Kessler's Shoulda Been There, both Cynthia Lennon books, and Judith Kristen's Date with a Beatle (that Beatle being George!) The last book mentioned hopefully will arrive any day now. Read the Kessler one already, and the first Cynthia Lennon one, halfway through the 2nd.

How's it going? I hope that 2010 has started off well for all of you. It definitely has for me. Ha Ha! What is the last BEATLES item that I purchased recently? I bought another BEATLES bootleg and not just any bootleg either. If you are familiar with Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (MFSL), MFSL released the SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND in the UHQR ORIGINAL MASTER RECORDING format on Vinyl/LP in the 1980's. The album was originally packaged in a black box baring the silver with black print ORIGINAL MASTER RECORDING on the top of the box. The print in shining red says UHQR BY MOBILE FIDELITY SOUND LAB in the lower right hand corner of the box. On the side of the box, it says SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND in shiny red print. The inner album cover attachment is black with the red with black print saying ORIGINAL MASTER RECORDING on the top of the abum cover. However, the album cover has the UHQR BY MOBILE FIDELITY SOUND LAB in white print on the lower right hand corner of the album cover. Also attached is the Technical Specifications Manual along with a UHQR Certificate Of Authenticity with 2 Registration Certificates. I do own the original MFSL UHQR Vinyl/LP Record and it is the best sounding BEATLES SGT. PEPPER'S album that I have ever heard. For the first time, there is a CD release of this MFSL UHQR that was manufactured in Japan on a genuine original CD and not a CD-R. In my opinion, you will NEVER hear the SGT. PEPPER'S album that sounds better than this special release. This SGT. PEPPER'S release EASILY BLOWS AWAY the 2009 BEATLES REMASTERS Stereo version. You have to hear this to believe it! WOW, what a sound! Take care.

A 'Abbey Road' t-shirt from HMV, and a few Beatles books. One of my favourites is from Ian Mcdonald. Hope to buy lots of new merchandise in 2010!

I bought the White Album, Rubber Soul, Help, and A Hard Day's Night on CD. I needed new copies of them and not only that I wanted the new reissues because the cases are really nice and I loved what's inside with new booklets and pics. I still need to get Sgt Peppers Revolver, Beatles For Sale, Magical Mystery Tour, and Let it Be yet. Oh yeah and the Past Masters too I gotta get sometime soon.

Hmm... let's see. Five Beatle - og beatle related books (they are so cheap in England!), two dvd's about John and Pauls songwriting, a plain black and white "The Beatles" t-shirt, a keychain, a "Mr. Kite" poster ( ) , a shopping bag, a rubber soul sticker, plus I got the t-shirt with all the album covers for christmas. And yes, I went to the Beates store in Baker Street. Gotta love it! Unfortunately, I have a finite amount of money. Would love to have the Beatles trivial pursuit.

Yeah... It's not every day you're in London and in the Beatles shop, haha. Yeah, love them, and I'm just a sucker for band merchandise in generel... Think I have about 25-30 band t-shirt in my closet. I go a little crazy sometimes.

I got a tremendous Christmas present from my daughters, and I'd like some advice from you on the best way to frame it. It's a drawing in color of the Beatles in Yellow Submarine by Ron Campbell, an animator on the film and an animator/director for the Beatles cartoons. Mr Campbell was also gracious enough to personalize my letter of authenticity with a pen and ink sketch of all four Beatles as they appeared in the Saturday morning cartoon. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
