I can't meet at Spaghetti works...I won't even make it Downtown until between 430 and 500...I think we're just going to try and find a Burger King or something...Right now, I still have one class...If we didn't have a quiz, i would have ditched... o

I think i've been somewhere around there...I work for EH&S, I'm one of their student workers, and I inspect all of the fire extinguishers on campus, and I did Curtiss last spring.
Hmm, someone came a few years back and busted me for a space heater and an extension cord oops
That wasn't me...I've only worked for them a semester...it was probably the fire marshall...he busted the Landscape Architecture building for the vines. I only bust people if they remove the fire extinguisher with out telling us. D

I'm so excited, the concert is soo close. I was just reading about all of you guys meeting at Spaghetti works, and it sounds like most of the restaurants are going be super crowded. My boyfriend and I have class until 320 up in Ames, and we're going to drive straight down to the Arena and then go somewhere for dinner and that's not going to be until like 430. Are we basically screwed?

Hey, this is going to be my first PM concert, and I just have a couple questions I want to ask my fellow Des Moines-ians. 1. Will I be able to bring my camera to the show and take pictures? 2. Should I buy my tour merchandise on-line or wait until the show? That's all I need to know, and I would appreciate someone informing me. Thankyou!
Cameras will not be allowed - security will take it from you at the door. If you sneak in a camera somehow and get caught - you can be thrown out - I wouldn't chance it. I always buy my merchandise at the show. Lines will be long - get there plenty early. Also, this new arena is having a bunch of problems getting people into the show in time - I repeat GET THERE EARLY! They keep saying they will have all the bugs worked out with security, etc., before the Paul show, but . . .well, I'll believe it when I see it. The fans trying to get into Green Day last weekend had a horrible time! The merch tables are usually still up and selling after the show also D
Thanks so much...i really appreciate the answer...and after seeing how much shipping will cost, i will buy my stuff at the show. I plan on getting to the show early, but I have class at ISU until 330, so I don't know how early it will be.

I got my tickets for the show yesterday. I'm in section 311 Section B...those were the best seats I could afford...i was on at exactly 1000!!! Being a Student at ISU, I couldn't quite afford anything else. Seuss Are you serious? That's what that promotional code box was for? But I never even saw that stupid box until I bought my tickets yesterday. They should have made that more known...grrr
Great that you were able to score seats. I WORK at ISU and even then it's hard to afford the top seats but I passed up $250 seats in St. Paul in 2002 and said that if I ever got another opportunity, I was going for the whole banana! I was pleasantly surprised that tickets were ONLY $176 (that sounds awful, doesn't it)? Here's the second comment I received form the Events Ctr manager just a few moments ago "The McCartney fan-club on-sale was a very last minute add by the show (I think we got it Friday AM right before it went up). I'm not sure where they published the info, but I thought it was thru their web site." I repeatedly checked the NEWS section of the website and didn't see anything about Des Moines. Guess I should have called the box office Friday a.m., too - that'll learn me! In the end, I can't complain, I got 2 seats in Section 104, Row 7 - still the best seats I've ever had for a Paul show D
This is my first Paul Show, so i'm very excited about it...I tried to go in 2002 when i was living in California still, but I couldn't afford tickets, and then i was 1 number off of winning tickets. I was not going to pass up tickets this time, especially since i LIVE in des moines. where do you work at ISU?
