RE: Favorite Lines From The Movies
From Wayne's World: Garth: "Party on Wayne!" Wayne: "Party on Garth!" Wayne: "Who's playing?" Club bouncer: "The Sh**** Beatles" Wayne: "Are they any good?" Bouncer: "No they suck" Wayne: "So it's not just a clever name." Garth: "We fear change" Wayne: "Happy birthday, Mr. Presidont. Happy birthday toooo youuu." From A Bug's Life: "Die! Die! Die! Die!" (said by a Blueberry scout no older than 8 ) *Blueberry scout dressed up as a leaf falls over* "The last leaf has fallen!" Heimlich: "Oohh candy corn! Let me help you to finish it!" Heimlich: "I'm a cute little bumble bee!" Slim: "And I am a flower, with nothing interesting to say." Princess Atta: "You see Hopper, Nature has a certain order. The ants pick the food, the ants keep the food, and the grasshoppers leave!" Dot: "This rock will be a tree?" Blueberry scout: "We drew one of you dying because our teacher said it would be more dramatic"

*wanders into a strange new thread....* So... those Moldy Peaches... Bob Dylan.... yeah, that's basically I recognize on that list. Bob > Peaches, but if I had it my way, Granny Smith Apples > any kind of peaches, moldy or not. I hope I'm not the only one laughing

RE: What are you reading now?
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee for school. It's great! I watched the movie too. My favorite characters are Scout, Jem, Dill, Atticus and even Mayella Ewell. After watching the film, you have to feel sorry for her. Here's a great quote for you all: "it's a sin to kill a mockingbird". If you haven't read the book, a mockingbird in this book is basically an innocent person, or a person the people of Maycomb know very little about. There are two people I can say are "mockingbirds" off the top of my head. Tom Robinson and Boo Radley. Tom especially. Just read it, I don't want to give anything else way. ---------------- Now playing: Bob Dylan - Mr. Tambourine Man via FoxyTunes

RE: Moving Pictures - a thread for YouTube clips of the Beatles!
I found this great video on MySpace: http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=28882398 It's an interview between Ringo Starr and Ben Harper. Very informative. They exchange gifts, but you'll have to watch the video to find out what they are.

RE: What Beatles Item did you last buy?
Yesterday I went to a Goodwill store and found a copy of Paul Is Live on cassette tape! You might be thinking "oh well, it's on some dumb out-dated format nobody uses anymore" BUT... consider this. I got it for 59 cents and it includes the original poster it came with. How about that?

RE: * * * * * * Some of Your Favorite Music Videos * * * * * * *
"Yer So Bad" - Tom Petty
The video is a bit wierd, but I like the song. Basically any music video that actually shows the band playing. -
RE: Paul McCartney has officially become an oldies act.

silly loves songs, was a duet with Linda, doubtful that will happen. He's done I've just seen a face in concert, Old Siam Sir and I had enough will be bathroom breaks.
I don't see why he couldn't do "Silly Love Songs". Linda's counter melody ("Ah, he gave me more...") is basically a repeat of the second verse and is not really essential to the song IMO. I agree with you about "Old Siam Sir" and "I've Had Enough" - they weren't even hits when they were released, and by now they're about as obscure as some of his B-sides.
I could be wrong but did not think "C Moon" was a big hit, thought it was a B side and he plays it quite often.
"C Moon" was the B-side to "Hi Hi Hi" which was banned so "C Moon" was the more popular song of the two.

RE: What are you reading now?
I'm reading The Outsiders for school. The Socs like The Beatles and The Greasers like Elvis. I guess I'm more like a Soc then, except I'm not rich and I'm not in a gang.
