If we get unique codes to the pre-sale, passing that code on to other people after your purchase may cause problems for the initial order.
-
RE: David Lynch Foundation Concert
My guess is that they will not e-mail the codes until TM (by phone) opens (10 a.m.?)...to give everyone the same chance to purchase.
-
RE: David Lynch Foundation Concert
On the TM website for this event, there isn't even an indication of a pre-sale. The phone and online access must be for the general sale on Monday morning. I believe the pre-sale is phone in only....as the e-mail notes.

Mark...are you sure about "on line". The ticketmaster web-site doesn't show anything about a pre-sale, and the e-mail indicated "call in".

RE: Paul McCartney has officially become an oldies act.
QUOTE..."Lets not forget, Wings generally received abysmal reviews throughout the 1970's. The press were quite unkind to Paul and belittled his solo work every chance they could get." I agree with you somewhat. Wings may have had a hard time in the press until Paul announced the band was finally planning a tour of America. McCartney and Wings were on the cover of every magazine in the spring and summer of 1976. Late night shows covered the concerts (Geraldo Rivera) and people were actually comparing it to "Beatlemania". Having the number 1 LP and single at the time was a huge boost for the band. Sadly, Wings' popularity (in the U.S.) never regained that height in the later part of the decade as he concentrated more on studio work and a small tour in the U.K.

Believe it or not, the winner of that contest (Melanie Coe) was the subject for the Beatles "She's Leaving Home" three years later! Posted 05-17-2008 1132 PM Post subject She's Leaving Home -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In a fit of what seemed to be adolescent pique, Melanie Coe, aged 17, ran away from home in 1967 - and became part of pop music legend. It was her story of sneaking out of her parents' comfortable North London home, which made front page news in those days, that inspired Paul McCartney and John Lennon to write one of their most beautiful ballads - She's Leaving Home... Wednesday morning at five o'clock as the day begins Silently closing her bedroom door Leaving the note that she hoped would say more... Four decades on, Melanie, now 58, is on the move again, and this time it's not by choice. Read more... http//www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/femail/article.html?in_article_id=567024&in_page_id=1879

QUOTE "Paul only did this three Lennon song in Liverpool live on stage". He also did the Lennon medley at Knebworth, 2 days after Liverpool as well as 12 of the 13 dates on the last leg of the 1990 U.S. Tour.
