He's on the Howard Stern show right now & he's in Sussex but Nancy is in New York which is a shame. But it's good to hear he's doing well, he's on lockdown with Mary right now

RE: Barcelona/Europe Tour dates Corona Virus
So France has officially banned large gatherings until Mid-July. Does anyone know when we'll get an announcement on new dates? Most of the dates can't even happen due to government guidelines now

RE: Paul McCartney, Elton John Set for Coronavirus Charity Special
He should totally do Home Tonight but say "I'm staying at home tonight!" Not that it'll happen but it'll be so funny, looking forward to this show

Thanks for sharing. It's disappointing but it's the right thing to do. Just wish they put a statement awhile back. Was frustrating not hearing anything as every other show has issued a statement regarding Coronavirus

Yeah I've not been too bad, mainly bored & disappointed with all the concert postponements that have been going on but it's the right thing to do. Hoping to hear about a new date from Paul soon. How have you been? I know it's insane back when you could handshake people, it was only 7 months ago!

RE: Where's Paul been lately?
I've been looking around to see if there's anything similar to that video in the past few years & nothing appears to show. The only thing about the NHS & Paul is him allowing the NHS to use With a Little Help From my Friends. I believe it's a new video, along with Mike sharing it I have no reason to believe it's an old video

RE: Barcelona/Europe Tour dates Corona Virus
We may not have had any posts from Paul about the tour but we've just had an April Fools post 🤪🤪
This is the only show out of all the shows that I had planned from now until the end of May where nothing has been said at all. Pretty shambolic

RE: Any chance releasing some old concerts because of the corona
There's a great Beatles Tribute band called The Bootleg Beatles & the guy who plays Paul McCartney has been doing daily videos of Guess the Beatle bass line. He's also done a video talking about his Hofner bass that he uses. It's thoroughly entertaining. It's really enjoyable if you want to watch something McCartney related

RE: Barcelona/Europe Tour dates Corona Virus
Just been reading this article saying "Jackie Lombard, producer of the three stadiums that Paul McCartney was to complete in May in Paris and Lille, and early June in Lyon. I am trying to postpone these concerts in June knowing that the insurance companies can reimburse the cancellation costs. But if the ban is now limited to April 15, insurance will no longer work. So, I will have to try to maintain the original dates. "
It's from Googletranslate which might be a bit confusing from translation but the gist of it. I'd admit that I at first wasn't too concerned about it due to my initial ignorance but now it's got to be postponed for a while with the safety of attendees & also considering the McCartney fan base tend to travel to various countries & who knows about flight restrictions. Hopefully new dates are announced soon & we can all attend the new shows.

RE: Any chance releasing some old concerts because of the corona
I'd personally love it if he finally released the Cavern Club 2018 show now (SHOCK) Don't understand why it was never released, been dying to see since it happened!!

RE: Barcelona/Europe Tour dates Corona Virus
I'm just waiting for the new dates to get announced. It's bound to happen sooner or later. Luckily EasyJet have removed their fee for changing the flight dates & it's what all airlines should do this & the hotel doesn't need to get paid for until check in. I think October/November would be decent. But if he ends up clashing with another concert, he's obviously getting top priority over anyone else
Hope you guys have been safe & can't wait to see some of you guys in Paris once this has blowed over

RE: Barcelona/Europe Tour dates Corona Virus
It's probably to do wtih insurance as to why they haven't said anything. Along with people buying tickets & making travel plans. They are monitoring it for sure as more bands that are touring at around that time have said that they're not planning to reschedule as of now as there's still time & will assess the situation. The only event cancelled for May was BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend in Dundee but tickets weren't put on sale & they only announced 6 acts. Still hopeful but not getting hopes up just in case of potential disappointment

RE: Barcelona/Europe Tour dates Corona Virus
Just need to wait & see. I'm going to see The Killers the week of the Paris gig & they've just released a statement saying they're still planning to go ahead with it as they believe it'll settle down but only time will tell.

Interesting. That also sometimes means he is announcing new dates...
Indeed, either way it's not lookig like they're planning on cancelling the dates but I guess you can never tell. I'm just hoping it can all go ahead. I really had to push my boss to sign off on me going on holiday hahaha

I've just seen for the Hot Sound Package that they added this "Or Newly added PL1 reserved seated ticket (Rows 18-25)" does that mean even though I bought it when there was only being showed Rows 3-6, I might get the row 18-25 thing? Or will I be guaranteed to be in row 3-6 as I bought it when only rows 3-6 was being advertised? Has this happened to anyone here before?
sounds strange!!!
if you get row 18-25 might be a kind of scam... what does your ticket confirmation say?
Just emailed them & they said that I'm still going to be in Rows 3-6.What a relief, I was certain I would be but glad I checked

If you are paying for a Hot Sound Package (including Soundcheck) you should get in rows 3-6! I gather you don't get to pick your seat ahead of time like we do in the U.S.? That would suck if you ended up anywhere in rows 18-25!
P.S. Gordy, I was watching some British show and one of the characters referred to the other character's "kecks." I cracked up! Immediately thought of you and Paul!
Yeah I'm thinking since how I paid for the Hot Sound when they were only advertising rows 3-6 then I should get that. Feels like they added the rows 18-25 for Hot Sound to sell more of the Hot Sound Tickets, so if it was bought when that was added then they'll get 18-25. I'll be pretty furious if I end up with row 18-25
Glad you thought of me & Paul, it's all I ever wanted hahaha
For the Euro/UK shows that are sold via Event Travel, you cannot chose your exact seats, the way you can in the US. They distribute their allotment in the order of ticket purchase, so Gordy, you should be allotted something in Rows 3-6 since you purchased at the original time of sale.
Just emailed Event Travel & they have confirmed that I'll still be in Rows 3-6! Thought I would be but wanted to make sure in case I got the ticket & it said Row 18. Glad I checked. Got my holidays from work sorted, paid most of the ticket off, booked my flights & accommodation. Can't believe I'm actually doing this

The invoice I recieved for installments I paid recently are still saying Rows 3-6, but the bottom part says that along with the newly added rows 18-25. I'm going to email Event Travel about this just to make sure. I'd imagine that I'll be Rows 3-6 as I bought on the first day of sale

RE: How many times have you seen Paul live?
I've seen him 7 times (plus Hey Grandude signing) & going to see him again in Paris in May 2020.
The first time I saw Paul was in London December 2009! I was 12 at the time & couldn't believe that I was actually going to be seeing the Paul McCartney in person. I was listening to GENYC non stop from the September before that. I thought that this gig was the peak of my Beatles fandom but it turned out to merely be the start of my massive McCartney fandom, finally getting into his solo stuff outside of just the hits. Our seats were right behind the VIPs where a lot of famous people walked past me but I didn't care as I was seeing Paul.
I always remember being told by the security guy to get back into my seat as I was dancing to Dance Tonight on the stairs down to the stalls area I remember this gig very well & I'll always remember the opening notes of Magical Mystery Tour hitting & I just screamed.
