This one is pretty good.
Is that your favorite?
It's a catchy little tune.

This is the first Kanye West song I've ever heard. Because of Paul, a lot of people can probably say the same thing. Likewise, this might be the first Paul McCartney song a lot of Kanye West fans have ever heard. If it introduces different music to people, that's not such a bad thing. Multiply that by millions because of the people involved and it's even better.
Do you have to dislike someone just because someone you like said something bad about them?

This recent tour seems to have a little extra zest, although Lindsay and Christine's voices are a far cry from what they used to be.
I heard that Christine still sounds great - for a 71 year old. Lindsey's voice was going downhill during the Say You Will Tour, and that was 10 years ago.
Everything's offensive to someone. There's a Harrison Ford movie where he's complaining that he doesn't understand today's music. A woman tells him, "You ain't supposed to."
It's probably one of those motivational posters that have been around forever and no one knows who really said it. Unless it was really him.
We could probably all name people who we think deserve to be in but others think should not. Just as I'm sure there are people already in who might raise an eyebrow or two. The system is already imperfect and damage has already been done. What's the harm in letting in Ringo? Would Ringo's presence take anything away from Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers or Butch Trucks?
This is a pretty good Christmas album.
Carpenters Christmas PortraitOff the Ground is one of those covers that someone decided to take too literally. Like Band on the Run. Imagine if they did that with Kisses on the Bottom.
This one is pretty good.

Folks, this is all about preferences. I don't think the article I originally posted claims Wild Life is McCartney's crowning achievement. Nor do I think it is.
But it does say that you have to understand what he was going through in his life to fully appreciate it. Compare that to some of his albums that are universally loved and people talk about the music, not about whatever stressful thing he was dealing with at the time. For example, people love Band On the Run on its own. Knowing about everything he went through in Africa and band problems makes for interesting anecdotes, but the album still stands up without it.

I saw them in 1976 with The Eagles as their opening act!!
That would be a great night. The sooner someone invents a time machine, the better.
I saw them without Christine McVie. You could tell something was missing, but Lindsey Buckingham did a great job.
Does this Offspring song count as beatlesque or a ripoff?
Billy Joel deserves a lot more respect than he ever got from the critics.
I was thinking Andrew Lloyd Webber's Schoolhouse Rock. Don't Cry for Me, Prepositions The Music of the Noun
James Taylor and Carly Simon disagree.
Without Paul's hair, there would be no Justin Bieber.

Even skimming the threads...and seeing this thread just brings me down.
It's not exactly a festive Christmas topic, is it?
There's no shortage of people trying to pit them against each other. But at least now we know who Justin Bieber prefers.
