I saw some American TV while I was in Spain. Saturday Night Live is very different from what I remember. But that could be because they showed a heavily edited 45 minute version. The sitcoms were unwatchable.
There was one show that stood out. David Steinberg has an interview show where he talks with the top comedians alive today. It doesn't have any of the filler of other talk shows. It's just a one on one conversation for half an hour. One episode had Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner. That's better than all the Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Corden combined.
