Great thread... had the idea for it when I read the favorites threads but was too much of a coward to reveal my dislikes ops: Surprised that all of my dislikes showed up considering how loved they are! The Long and Winding Road because of the way it makes me feel and for some reason the lyric "has left a pool of tears" really bothers me. Shame because it is a beautiful song really. Let It Be and I can't explain why and I didn't realize I didn't like it for years until my husband pointed out "why do you always skip Let It Be?" when listening to the album. Guess it bothers me for some reason. Michelle and Here There and Everywhere. I CANNOT and NEVER could stand these. Maybe because I am a huge Beatle fan but was a teen in the 90's and both songs cross the sickly sappy love song lines. After all at the time my other favorite band was Nirvana lol. For the most part I think I like all the other popular songs he's done. There's loads of filler I don't. Only one I can think of mentioned in this thread that I've been struggling with is House of Wax... I like a lot of MOF but even the opening bit of Wax made me skip the track. After reading reviews on this forum I've been really trying to get it. I don't dislike it as much as I did but I like A LOT more tracks on it much more... ones that would cause lazy and plastic soul man to cringe (both member's opinions I value and normally agree with btw) but I guess we just like what we like and there's not always a good explanation why. Like why am I the only person that thinks Bruce Springsteen is just awful, horrible and the worst ever? Not realated but I thought why not get that off my chest too.

I like the fact that Paul, on this tour especially, is interacting with fans more than ever. When else has Paul been pulling someone on stage almost every show? He's trying, and I appreciate that. That's why I'm getting so annoyed by folks who are talking about how he should stop doing that. For that one person, it's a once in a lifetime experience. Before, no one got that feeling at shows, or it was a real rarity. Why begrudge that person who gets their dream achieved? Yes, it's sad for everyone else, but I'd rather have one person up there than no one. Again, he's trying, he's having fun, so why be a gloomy gus about that? Let the man enjoy himself, and sit back and have fun at the shows.
As one of those who didn't manage to get onstage for a tattoo (and, yes, my friend and I had a sign) I will say that the tattoo signs are NUMEROUS so originality definitely counts. And I will agree that the women he has pulled on stage so far have basically been young... . . . . no offense. Just wish he would pull someone in the "over 40" category one time. But, all that said, I like that Paul wants to interact with the audience and it is kind of like the lottery to see who might get up there. My friend and I were paying very close attention to him in Pittsburgh (2nd night) and he seemed to tell someone about the Flaming Pie Thigh girl (sorry - don't remember your name!) after they left the floor the first time. We pretty much knew she was coming back up, and sure enough, it was her. More power to her! And I LOVED that she had that camera with her to take the pic of her and Paul together. So cute! On the NEGATIVE side of the Tattoo Wars, there was a young girl sitting behind where I was (7th row floor on the aisle, Rusty's side) and she kept running down the aisle jumping up and down like a maniac. Now, I don't disparage this behaviour for the most part, but it got really old after about the 10th time. Even after he had already signed the Flaming Pie girl. So I would say, give it a rest, at least after he has already signed someone!!!
i am sure marta is 41... thats what she claims even though she looks much younger ... don't worry marta i believe you it's a compliment! you look a lot younger! anyway... maybe younger people are more willing to get a tattoo or have more energy to keep the sign held up who knows... i don't think it matters as long as paul and the fan have a connection about age (and i'm not a young girl anymore so don't go there) going to get myself a fake paul signature tattoo the only one i will ever get just to be in the spirit i think its great

It's only getting old to a few people who see every show, either following him around or diligent Youtubing. It's a real crowd pleaser, Paul seems to enjoy it, and a few people get the huge thrill of having it done. It's fine to have it expected even if everyone starts to know about it from it hitting the general media. It makes for anticipation. It doesn't take long, but is fun to watch so I can't see any problem at all.
I've only seen four shows on this tour and only at Nashville was there a tattoo, so that generalization is also wrong. I also haven't watched the others on You Tube because I find it boring. It was exciting to watch Sarah, but I think Paul should have stopped with Audrey. I hope tonight's will be the last one.
I just love in your post you say you've only seen 4 shows on this tour haha your funny!

I was pulled up on stage at the very end of the first show in Pittsburgh. It was unbelievable, the best moment of my life, and the best moment I will ever have in my life. I'm surprised to see negativity here. I wasn't the first, but that does not lessen the fact that I met Paul McCartney! PAUL MCCARTNEY!!!! I have the tattoo on my shoulder to remind me every day of my life of that moment. I'm beyond thrilled and always will be!
you were so cute when you said "hello pittsburgh" in a timid voice and little wave i had my 6 year old daughter with me who insisted on holding up a sign even though we were in the nose bleeds... she says "awe shes so lucky! but so is paul because she is pretty" i laughed my butt off! kids say the cutest things! congrats on the tattoo thats awesome!!!
