RE: dreams
I just had another Paul dream this week. I had had a similar one like this before. Well anyways Paul had these really small concerts in a venue that was a coffee shop with this small little stage and for some reason no one ever showed up. He would do really weird things and there would be weird theatre elements to it. Before he would go on he would come out and greet us, get ready and then go on stage. Welll this time he was wearing heavy eye liner on stage and I was so weirded out by it. And then he just lleft the stage. I was all alone in the front of the stage wating for him to get back when I realized every one else had moved to this outdoor stage . No one told me about the change in venue so I was really pissed and so anyways I relocated to the new stage and myy dream ended before Paul came back on stage
super weirddd

RE: dreams
I had a dream that I was in the car with my mom and we passed a gas station. I saw that there was a group of people around a man and I soon realized that the man was Paul. I freaked out and told my mom to pull into the gas station right away. I just happened to have my favorite album by him in the car with me and a black sharpie. I got out of the car and the crowd around Paul had disappeared and it was just me and him at the gas station(weird location, I know) . Long story short, he signed my album and I was back in the car not believing what just happened. I knew I wasn't in a dream and I was super happy but I finally woke up and realized it was all a dream
the happiness was good while it lasted lol

RE: Remembering Linda
Linda was such a great woman and my thoughts are with her family and Paul

RE: Paul McCartney has officially become an oldies act.
I'm 14 and I've never seen Paul and I really would love to hear him play the hits and I would be very happy with a "Hits" show so I wouldn't mind his "predictable" shows.

today has been so disapointing knowing Paul is less then an hour away and I can't even see him =(
Tell me about it - I had to make a choice with this show as well...But I don't regret the choice I made one bit. I'm trying to get accepted into a health field program at college and needed a Saturday course this semester...So that left no time for me to get from BOS to NY.
Oh i see. I just couldn't get tickets...and I was like one of the first people who started a thread about this concert on here when no one knew about it. oh well hopefully he will do a tour soon =P

No tickets for me either
I didn't get the password till 11:30, well after all the tickets were gone. Monday was no better. I need 3 in the $129, $99 or $79 price range if anyone has extras to sell. I so want to go to this show. Did any of you get this e-mail explanation from Chris at the DLF today? David Lynch Foundation benefit concertโ From: Chris Busch (chris@davidlynchfoundation.org) You may not know this sender.Mark as safe|Mark as junk Sent: Tue 3/10/09 2:22 AM To: Chris Busch (chris@davidlynchfoundation.org) To those of you who contacted the David Lynch Foundation following the ticket sale: We have received quite a few emails from disappointed fans. We wanted to give you the courtesy of a follow-up note about the pre-sale Sunday and public sale Monday, and to apologize for any frustration and disappointment we have caused you. Most of the emails dealt with: Flawed pre-sale on Sunday No code for the pre-sale received No tickets available from the start of the public sale on Monday With ticket prices starting at $79.50 and $99.50 we really tried our best to make the ticket opportunities affordable and accessible to fans. The foundation held 75% of the seats priced between $79.50 and $325.50 for the pre-sale Sunday. The pre-sale was offered to people who registered on our public website over the last few months. 25% of these seats, or about 1,200, were held for the public sale Monday morning. There were some $504.50 seats available for both pre-sale and public sale but the majority were held by our event planner for premium tickets and packages. Regarding the pre-sale there are a couple of points to mention. Although it was not intentional, we bear responsibility for the fact that the pre-sale wasn't held on a level playing field. We gave first notice of the pre-sale promotion code to about 3,000 people beginning right at 11:00am on Sunday. The notice went out at the same time to everyone but we overlooked that emails don't arrive to everyone at the same time, so not everyone had an equal opportunity to purchase. Tickets were still available as of 11:10 or 11:15, but for those who received the email later than that, they were frustrated and disappointed, and we apologize. A number of people were told by Ticketmaster that the pre-sale Sunday morning started at 9am Eastern. This is true. We offered a limited, private 2-hour pre-sale window to a select list of friends of the foundation - people known to us. The great majority of pre-sale tickets were still available at 11am Eastern. A few dozen people told us they never received their code at all. We did have emails bounce back to us as undeliverable. Many said they reached Ticketmaster for the Monday morning public sale at exactly 11:00 am, or a few minutes after, only to be told the concert was sold out. They could not believe this was possible. Ticketmaster suggested the demand was so great that internet ordering could easily claim 1,200 tickets in a matter of moments. We did hear from individuals who beat the scalpers and got a ticket on the Monday morning sale. But many didn't. We were alarmed seeing that tickets were listed on the scalping sites days before they went on sale. To our knowledge these tickets were only being held by Ticketmaster for the pre-sale and public sale. It is disappointing to us that we can not accommodate all the fans who want to attend. And very disappointing for us to see how many tickets are being sold on the ticket reselling sites from people who only care about making a buck. It's not kind to the foundation and it's not kind to fans. If we do have any tickets in the $79.50 to $329.50 range come into our possession we will inform you, and you can be assured they will be sold at face value. David Lynch is such an authentic and good-hearted man. Please don't let this reflect on him or his foundation's work. Thank you for your understanding and I apologize again for your disappointment. Please feel free to email me back if you have any further questions. Sincerely, Chris Busch Program Director David Lynch Foundation
Hopefully some of those tickets can be available again and taken away from the silly scalpers..I didn't recieve this email but I'm glad they were so sympathetic.

Martin (I think) posted earlier about that; look a couple of pages back, he mentioned a March 19 verification date, and other shows having done this in the past. I just looked at the Radio City Music Hall website; on their FAQ page it says capacity is 6,000 but changes by show (i.e. if the orchestra pit is being used and those seats are not available). So it looks like only 1500 seats are up for grabs Monday if DLF is saying 25 percent of the seats are left and will be available.
Do you guys think those tickets will go really fast or not?
Yes, it will probably take minutes.
Err that sucks

tell me you are kidding!!!
I'm guessing the 79.50 ,99.50, and 129.50 are for the 3 mezzanines and the 229.50, 329.50, and 504.5 are for 3 sections of the orchestra....Just a theory don't take my word for it hahah

good information there! i just hope these guests don't butcher Beatles songs! also like to get a clarification on the general admission/seating for the cheap seats before sunday.i really don't want to wait in line like i did in Quebec...
I really hope that the cheap seats aren'y in the back of 3rd mezzanine..that would suck haha

There are so many price ranges.I wonder if the cheaper tickets are for standing outside with a dixie cup to your ear.
bring you bionoculars and lets hope they have big screens. who know maybe the back seaters will get lucky and some of these artist will slum it and sit in the back to watch the show. Wouldn't that be special.
Radio city music hall isn't a big venue so it won't be hard to see him..I've had both 2nd mezzanine and orchestra and I saw the stage perfectly.
