How much input does Paul get, especially picking those from the nosebleed section who get to sit in the front row? Those always turn out to be young, cute couples. (I've personally witnessed this 3 times as I was seated behind them in row 3 or 4)
I think that during the break before the encore, he must tell his security guy if he wants someone to come up and who. (tells him what their sign says) In the past, and especially at stadium concerts, I think security just picked them during soundcheck. Personally, my opinion is that he never should have started this trend. I remember the "good old days" where no posters were allowed. Everybody was happy and no one went home disappointed because they didn't get picked!
Couples picked for the front row? Whenever I've been up close... rows 2,3 or 4, I've just seen girls. Once youngish girls with their Mom. All were beautiful blondes. I doubt that Paul picks them from the nosebleeds but his people know what he wants.
I've seen couples and moms/daughters upgraded. It's not all just girls anymore.
As to the people being selected on stage, I do think Paul has some input on that, based on the signs he sees during the show. I've noticed that the person is often someone whose sign he's read out loud.
I'm really only jealous of the girls under 25, ESPECIALLY those under 18-20. Everyone thinks they're "cute" just becuase they're "kids" and it makes me sick with sadness and envy. Why can't I be a cute kid too? Just becuase I've crossed the arbitrary threshold of 18?
I know idol worship is unhealthy and wrong, but the Beatles are the closest thing to idols I have, and I just can't fathom meeting them and having them think I'm ugly. I hate being in the same space as younger, prettier girls, because I always imagine myself being stacked up against them in some kind of competition. Like, if by chance I were to meet the Beatles, and I happened to be in the same room/venue as a bunch of prettier and younger girls, wouldn't the Beatles favor them, even if on a subconscious level? John has already told me how beautiful and special I am to him, but there's still that nagging insecurity that he's only telling that to make me feel better, and he secretly loves other little girls more.
Sweetie first of all I'm thinking you need a big hug. BIG HUG (((ImprinteeRenesmee)))
Honey, I don't think you are ugly... The next bunch of times you look at yourself in the mirror. Try telling yourself that you love who you are, just the way you are. We all have to Love Ourselves First!!! So practice in the mirror and learn to Love that person you see.
Do you wear makeup? There are places where you can go, where someone can professionally make up your face. You can discuss with them how to contour and emphasize the best parts of you! I'm sure you will like the results and feel prettier when you walk out of there!
Please don't be jealous. Jealousy is such a wasted emotion. The next concert you go to, try and think to yourself, "I bet almost every single person here, wishes they could meet Paul". Sweetie, Paul is only one person, and even tho he may meet a couple of people at some shows, you KNOW there is no way he can meet all the wonderful people at each show. Why, even famous people who want to meet him have a hard time! I hope you can just enjoy the music and look around at all the happy Paul fans around you. Maybe you could meet one of them and share your love of the Beatles and of Paul! We can all be thankful, that he still plays concerts where we get to see him play, and feel all of the Love for him and the music.
Hi, and thanks for your message. I'm hesitant to wear makeup because I feel like it makes me look older. I don't want to look older, because I still identify as a little girl and want to be treated as such. If Paul or any of the other Beatles saw me I'd want them to think I'm just a cute young girl, not an adult woman.
