Hah imagine if back then Yesterday really turned out to be an old tune - interesting if a hypothetical judge and jury would respect the subconscious dream alibi..

Some of these are better than the original titles.
"An end to solitary evenings" - that's poetry

RE: Paul's Staying Power: Genuinely Nice or Persona?
SusyLuvsPaul:
You can also tell that being a musician is of vastly more importance to him than being a "music star."
I think he kinda loves both - cmon, he loves to be adored! On the stage you can feel him feeding on people's energy and love, and giving them the same - it's a mutual affection i think. He's never just playing, he's always in a relationship with his audience.

On this video his seat distance seems too close though, doesnt it? You could tell he prefers sitting in the back seat of his car

So, if this guy didn't know what was going on, how on earth did he get picked?!?! Did he have a sign?
Yeah, good question. What are the criteria for choosing the "chosen ones"?
I think it has a lot to do with dedication and it's hard not to see how dedicated Harley is. She deserved being called up on stage big time!
Of course she did, unlike that random guy.

Hi, could you tell me why is it that when i receive a topic reply notification via email, and click the link, the "Log me on automatically each visit" is not working, and i have to go to "log in" and do it manually?

RE: Lack of Knowledge
The majority of the facebook generation doesnt seem to know much about music, literature, arts... It's not just the Beatles, it's a common lack of knowledge I think. People in their 30s and above don't have that problem, it would seem. Only one friend of mine when i told him I was going to Warsaw for a concert, said: "Ah yes yes, I've heard, it's the last remaining Beatle, right? which one was it exactly?" Ouch!

RE: Paul's upcoming album review they say its HOT!
21st Century Paul:
What I would really like Paul to do is another Frog Chorus... like "You don't like that... I don't mind... I like it!" and many like it, really...
I bet Plato would have liked it as well

21st Century Paul:
-I think that by "a proper" album we mean the kind of album where Paul is at his best. His classical music stuff is great but Liverpool Oratorio or Ecce Cor Meum are no way as good as Flaming Pie or Off The Ground. Kind of the same with McCartney II, that's almost like EA...
Well, that's your opinion anyway.. And when it comes to taste there is no universal truth..

RE: Preshow Tracklist
Cool, thanks for the merge, and for all the links and info as well

RE: Paul's upcoming album review they say its HOT!
It's obvious that every person has a different taste - some people like certain albums better, other prefer something else. Still, going through this thread, I kinda get the feeling that some people here really underestimate the essence of Paul's genius - his versatile talent and his amazing ability to express and transmit meaning and emotions through so many styles and arts. I personally wouldnt call any of his artistic works less "proper", just because they dont match my taste that much. Really looking forward to Paul's next creation, and i've absolutely no doubt it will be proper as usual.

Among Paul's most poetic lyrics: The Swan Is Gliding Above The Ocean, A God Is Riding Upon His Back, How Calm The Water And Bright The Rainbow Fade This One To Black -"This One" '89
I love that song!!
I love the song too, great melody, great lyrics, but this part exactly that's been quoted here - I've always felt it kinda.. out of context.. And a bit like "scrambled eggs" (ok maybe it makes sense in the context of the meditation in the video..)

RE: Anyone know what time Paul hits the stage?
sankavarmuch:
Thisbe211:
Usually about 8:40 for shows that say they start at 8. Get there by 8 and enjoy the DJ and pre-show films!
Oh...I've heard about the pre-show film (singular) and thought it was just a brief retrospective with the house lights down and the band hitting the stage. Sounds like a bigger deal than that, and certianly part of the experience I don't want to miss! Thanks for the tip!
No, it's quite long actually. But go much earlier, the atmosphere is great.
