**Living in the eye of the Hurricane.**by John Gannon and Kevin Roach Published by Liverpool Authors http://www.beatlesliverpoolandmore.com/reviews--the-beatles-living-in-the-eye-of-the-hurricane.html This book tells the story of perhaps the most turbulent six months in the lives of the Beatles. It covers the period from February to July 1964 - six months in which the Beatles conquered America, toured Australia and New Zealand, made a film, and returned in triumph to Liverpool for a civic reception and the northern premier of "A Hard Day's Night". Although this isn't the first book to cover this period, and probably won't be the last, this offering from Kevin Roach and John Gannon is a treasure trove of information that will delight every Beatles fan. larainefan:
Kevin, I might order Beatles: Living in the Eye of the Hurricane, is George mentioned much in it?
thanks for you reply George does feature in the book "The Beatles Living In The Eye Of The Hurricane" the book starts with George who visited his sister Lou in July 1963 in the states, he went around record shops asking for Beatles records but couldn't find any, on his return to England he told john and Paul about his trip to America and that is when John made the now famous quote "Where not going there till we get a No1" you can view some interesting stuff on my website about George, at www.beatlesliverpoolandmore.com but you want find "The Beatles Living In The Eye Of The Hurricane" on Amazon because it is a limited edition of 500 copies only for the first run, which is selling really well at the moment, but we have got future plans to re-print the book as a standard book.

RE: Collecting Beatles Memorabilia!
Beatlemaniac:
So......do you collect any type of Beatles memorabilia? If so, when did you start?? ...and what do you collect??
I have become an accidental collector, whilst working on my books I have come across a lot of stuff some I have bought other items have been passed onto me, I would not sell any of the stuff which is really good concert ticteks etc, but the best item I cherish is the record My Bonnie which is signed by John, Paul, George and Pete Best, which was released in 1962, I have had offers for the single but have never been tempted to part with this record, on my website www.beatlesliverpoolandmore.com you can view some scans of some of my memorabilia.
