Hi Starr, Hope all is well. I haven't been on the computer much lately, so have been falling behind keeping up with friends. Sam, hi! I didn't know you had a hip surgery coming up! Good luck! My brother- in- law is an Orthopedic Surgeon. Wish you lived near, we'd have you in good hands. Davy Jones (Monkees) was one of his patients. He injured his knee after falling off a stage!! I'm still so excited over Paul answering my question on the MSN chat!!!! I have always tried to get a question answered. It was my lucky day!!!

Hi Starr!! I've been doing good, just busy as a bee with kids and art jobs! I have to remind myself to carve out a bit of time for myself, and to check in with my friends!!! Hope you're doing well. Hope you are feeling better, I know you've had a hard time after your kitty passed away. Mine passed away four months ago, and I'm just now feeling better.

Hey guys!!!! Before I forget. Watch the Today show Tuesday between 7 and 8 AM. They are doing a Beatles segment, and I'm on it! I'm the lady with the Yellow Sub , in my hand, and the Hard Day's Night shirt on. They interviewed me and had a bunch of Beatle fans singing to beatle songs.

Sam. it's so true what you are saying about the Mars mission, etc. Wish you really could go for Pressie. Our health care system stinks, I have no clue why so much $ is being sunk into the space program (maybe we're looking for an alternate place to live after the world blows up from all of this terrifying war situation.Ha! Ha?). Wonder why it's so incredibly clear, what needs to be done over here, but no one, in office, does anything about it?

COOL! Hey guys! The Today Show, with Katie Couric, just interviewed me! I went to a Beatles anniversary event, and they not only got me singing horribly and way off key, but pulled me outside for an interview!! Watch next Tuesday morning between 7 and 8:30. I have my Hard Day's Night shirt on.

Hi Starr, I just read your news about your cat!!! I am so sorry!!! I just went through that with my poor, old 17 year old cat who had diabetes. I'll say a prayer for you. Sam, Thanks for all that you're doing. Maybe all will work out for it to be an anniversary gift (I think in June). No hurry.

Hi Sam Hope everyone is having a nice evening! I haven't been on the board in a while. I missed everyone. I've been trying to keep up with kids and all of the lovely schoolwork. I feel like I'm back in school

Have a great weekend everyone! Val, thanks for the nice words about my art! I did Winking Paul when I was in high school, I used to read Beatlefan magazine back then and drew it to send into them. A a guy who was writing a Beatle book saw it and asked me if he could publish it. It's in a book called "As I Write This Letter". I have always loved the Beatles, and most of my happiest childhood memories are associated with them. They are also gorgeous, don't you agree? All around amazing! There has never been anything like them and will never be!!

Hi Val, I'll ask my hubby about the magazine when he gets home. I bet he has heard of it, and maybe has done AV for one of their meetings. Oh brother! I'm being rushed by my 8 year old.............. Nice to meet you Val. I'll chat later, here is the web site that carries my art, for now, I'm not computer savy enough to start one for my at home portrait business (I do children mainly, and of course, Beatles). http://www.beatlesartonline.com My work is mainly in the Paul section, and my icon, is my work in George's section.

Blondie 10, Orlando Florida? I'm in Ft. Lauderdale. There will be a Hard Rock Cafe sponsored Beatle event at City Walk, where you are, in February. Some of my Beatle art will be there with Beatlesartonline. Orlando is gorgeous, we almost moved there, my husband is in the Audio visual business and Portofino Hotel and Hard Rock Hotel have AV departments in them run by the business that my hubby works for.

Hi Sam, Did you come to South Florida, not long ago, with American English? It killed me to miss them, because I have never seen them perform, and usually, if there is anything Beatle related, within my vicinity, I'm there (my child had a school event). I'm jealous that I'm not in Chicago, you guys sound like you'll be having a fun time!! Your right ,Sam, about this generation having the Beatles still. They are timeless, that's why I compare them to Mozart and Beethoven. You already know how much my kids admire the Beatles. Christian is still admiring his/my (we may have to tug-o-war over it) Ringo autograph, and he plays drums to Beatle music daily. I think what I meant when I said today's kids need a group like the Beatles, was that I was just wishing we could all zap back into the past . It would be so wonderful to have them all alive, and well and together! Fortunatley, there is a huge number of smart kids with good music taste who have found the Beatles, but so many listening to hip hop and Backstreet Boys. Yuck! At least my kids are among the smart ones!! They also love Elvis.

You are right Mike. Hey, I'm off to paint. I do most of my painting work at night, so I'll check back in a little later. Hope everyone isn't asleep by then!

RE: Sam Leach - KEEP
Hi Mike I figured it out later, sorry ops: . I've been trying to get my hyper-energized kids to bed, and it's lucky my posts don't seem more like the martians have landed! Amen Sam!!! They were great as solo artists but a part of history as a group. They changed the course of musical history! Thank God! Sure wish their were a Beatles for today's kids, the music is so wretched (ex. Little Bow Wow, and Christiana Agueliera (sp?).

Hi Sam, Mike was reffering to me mentioning the Beatles Anthology in my above post. Mike, I'm all for recording for history everything that the Beatles did post Beatles included.

RE: Sam Leach - KEEP
Hi Sam and Starr, yes they were amazing, and it's funny how they don't seem to know it. I was listening to Ringo on Howard Stern, and he said after much discussion about the Beatles "isn't there life after the Beatles?" and at this point he wanted to shift conversation, and almost seemed annoyed. I have noticed Paul having the same thought process, and mentioning having come to terms with the whole Beatle thing when Anthology came out. I can't imagine being in their position and being on the level of Mozart or Beethoven, like they are, and not realizing it, but I guess it would be a hard concept to realize self greatness at that level. Sorry to get off on the beaten path so far. That interview was great, look for Ringo on Howard Stern. Sam, I can't even imagine having seen the Beatles perform in person and having the opportunity to know them. Cool

Wow! This thread is educational, as well! I'm happy to know what those mysterious words meant! Hi everyone!! Hey! This is interesting, especially neat since I live near Miami! My fellow Beatlemaniac friend sent this link to me, yesterday. I am interested in doing a Beatle commemorative project in Miami, and it would be soooooo cool if the Cavern opens up there, also. I am an artist and want to do a Beatle mural in the hotel where the Ed Sullivan show was broadcast from. Anyway, here is the Cavern article link... http://www.ananova.com/entertainment/story/sm_812922.html?menu=entertainment.latestheadlines
