Best overall show: Bonnaroo...hands down!! (Please release blu ray of this!) Best personal highlight: taking my two daughters (8 & 10 yrs) to the Winnipeg show; seeing Paul from the 7th Row! Exquisite show, with a tear-jerking performance of Mull of Kintyre, which I had not seen before live!!

Thanks! It was difficult to shoot...as my emotions were getting the best of me! However, it is a memory I'll never forget...and am glad for the little Kodak Zi8 in my pocket.

Hi, Folks: Me and my family traveled from Minnesota to last night's Winnipeg show. We were 7th row on an impeccable night at the new (and beautiful) Investor's Group Field. I can report that Eleanor Rigby Was played, .and Yesterday was played without string accompaniment. Also, Magical Mystery Tour was NOT played. The highlight was Mull of Kintyre with the Winnipeg Police Pipe Band. Many in the crowd had tears in their eyes once those bagpipes started playing. I have footage currently being uploaded to YouTube...and will poast the links here shortly. Overall, the crowd was into the show...but, expectedly, much more low key than when we saw Macca at Bonnaroo in June....However, the show,Paul and Band were white hot the entire 3 hours!

Awesome! Thanks for the tips! We are staying at the Fort Garry most of the week, and are looking forward to spending some quality time in Winnipeg. I am assuming the Fort Garry is in a good location, near some of the culture downtown?? Thanks again!

Thanks, macaximx! Yes, I am 38 yrs old, and both my wife and I felt a little 'old' at Bonnaroo ..however, it was so wonderful to hear comments all weekend from the younger folks...and those who had never seen Paul live before...expressing their pure delight, admiration and true awe of experiencing a Macca show. It truly demonstrates the timelessness and generational link that Paul's music and person provides. In fact, we are bringing my daughters (ages 8 & 10) to Winnipeg in August, so they can see Paul for the first time...creating memories they can cherish and pass down. Thanks again for checking out my videos...the Soundcheck at Bonnaroo was an absolute bonus...without having to pay extra for a VIP/Hot Sound package Have a good one! Steve

Hi, All: Sorry for the delay, but here are a bunch of snippet clips from Macca's Soundcheck at Bonnaroo. Not the greatest quality, but you get the idea (sorry for my vocal on Midnight Special . What an absolute EXPERIENCE!!! Love it!
(really long 'director's' cut of our Bonnarroo trip....McCartney Soundcheck content starts at 9:18, and McCartney 'actual' concert content starts at 19:02). Enjoy! Steve -

I have seen the recent Ottawa footage of Mull of Kintyre...which sends chills! Is it anticipated he will play this at the subsequent Canadian dates...Winnipeg, etc.? We are traveling from Minnesota and would love to catch Mull live! Saw Paul in June at Bonnaroo (which was AMAZING!)...can't wait to catch him North of the border in less than a month! Thanks- Steve

We received our VIP wristbands this past week as well; it will our first Bonnaroo and we are pumped! A couple of questions for the Bonnaroo veterans: 1) If you wait in the pit line, are you able to see acts on the What! stage? We are huge Wilco fans as well and don't want to miss them. 2) do you have any perspective on the location of the VIP seating? Just wondering if it would be best to just sit in the VIP section and not spend all day in the pit line....seems like it wouldn't be the same as rocking in front of the stage though Bottom-line: If there is a group that is planning on hanging out during the day in the pit line, I would love to join you. How will we coordinate the meet-up? Thanks....looking forward to a wonderful 4 days on The Farm!!!
