I also picked up my copy of RollingStone this past weekend I agree, Podgie, The Beatles should have been forefront............also, with their photo in black and white, they don't stand out very well..........I thought Janis Joplin was in front of them?? (I do remember that Stones album by the way!!
Paul....I hope you stop now reading those horrible media stories, it's not worth your energy.........and start reading all these encouraging messages!! We're all supporting you and your family! Take care of yourself ((((hugs))))
So sorry Paul!!!!! Extra hugs for you and especially Beatrice...............
Nice story...........and photo! The happy couple are beaming

Back when I was with my friends going to shows, we had a discussion...believe it or not, on Paul stirring his tea. Does he stir Clockwise or Counterclockwise. We thought at some shows it appeared he stirred one way, then it seem at other shows he stirred the opposite direction. Well, in the videos it is definitely CounterClockwise! He stirred Counterclockwise when he performed on Ellen today also. Podgie (I like to solve important issues?) Monkey
Maybe he stirs it counterclockwise because he's left-handed??? I go clock-wise with my coffee and I'm right-handed????
Wow.....those moving eyes are both creepy and hysterical at the same time You really know how to keep us all amused here...............thanks
Thanks Podgie............for some much needed laughs for me today Keep 'em coming!!!!!!!!! Gee............Paul "Sugar Daddy" McCartney, now that's a SWEET One!!!! I'm getting a REAL hankering for something sugary

You are so funny! You make me laugh and I had a rough day. Thanks for that, Podgie.
I'm just remembering stuff about the shows, like the second NY show I had lousy seats...way up in the balcony. There were alot of drunks around me, it was a pretty aggrevating section. Anyway, when Wix had his time for making an introduction, he started talking about the Yankees...so I said "Go Red Sox!" The next thing I know, my section started chanting..."Yankees Suck! Yankees Suck! ..." It wasn't me...I only said "Go Red Sox!" I thought a riot was going to break out! Wix actually talks about it at some of the shows, I think he mentioned it at Washington DC that he wouldn't mention sports teams ever again. I always seem to get stuck in the middle of stuff. Podgie (I'm missing the shows already...man, I want to go to another one!) Monkey
Wow Podgie, you were very brave to say "Go Red Sox" in MSG!!! It is funny how some of the other fans started saying the "anthem" in support of our local team! .............I was just thinking, how you're missing your stuffed monkeys, hey, maybe little Bea is sleeping with some new friends!!!

Hi Podgie! Those are fun stories from your high-school days! Those art teachers should lighten-up. We all know how John's doodles became famous!!! I also have enjoyed sketching the Beatles and some of you might remember me entering a Beatlefest art contest with my White Album pen and ink portraits of the Fabs
I loved your sketches...I voted for them even! They were great! Podgie (fellow artist) Monkey
Thanks for the compliment Your doodles are very good and funny!!!!! Podgie, you have real talent

Paul doesn't know what he's missing not visiting the board!!!! If there was an award for funniest thread here you'd win hands down..............Come on Paul bestow upon Podge a "Macca Board Award"
Podge..........You've REALLY outdone yourself with this hysterical thread!!! How will you ever top this one??? (The New Hampshire plate was the best for me, now that I'm a Granite Stater once more ) Hey, Tori.............you're no slouch yourself
Somethings never change............The Grammies never gave the accolades The Beatles deserved, and that isn't about to change after all these years : ...........as far as Justin goes, he was the LEAST talented in the pop singer category he won.............the other nominies ALL have it over him........ That pathetic tribute was ill-conceived..........they should have screened a montage of The Fabs arrival and singing appearance, why have ANYONE even try to cover them......it was obvious Sting, Dave Mathews and Vince Gill hadn't really rehearsed the song, wonder if they are embarrassed by their performance, they should be! Finally.........so nice to see Olivia and Yoko speak on George and John's behalf, Ringo was in great form, and Paul was a nice surpirse...(he looked tired, probably from sleepless nights with Bea? )
