I love... making easy money. Especially as I type this, right now.
I am thinking how? How? Please tell me how ... I could use some money -- I want money yeah that's what I want .... The best things in life are free - but you can keep 'em for the birds and bees now give me money ______ that's what I want... (done in E)
I am... saying that the way I was able to do that was due to the fact that some people I know needed some extra help with some event on Saturday and so, in order to drag my butt out of bed early on a Saturday morning, I got paid to give them an extra hand. Now, yes, money don't give everything, it's true... But what it don't get, I can't use!... Now give me money...

It was. (they took it away -- I will have to work at posting a picture and not have it be against the rules).
A picture of him violated the rules? Dare I ask what kind of photo it was?

I'm thinking of getting up the nerve to get a tattoo this summer
Will it look like this Tatoo?
I can't see the photo (only a red dot), but if your humor is anything like mine, I pray the photo is of Herve Villechaize.

The economy sucks nearly as bad as it did during The Great Depression in the 30's
It is bad, indeed, and just maybe the worst since the Depression, but AS bad as the Depression? Think of it this way: During the 1930's, people were lining up for bread. In 2008, people were lining up to see "The Dark Knight." Rough times, today, but cheer up.

RE: What Concerts are you going to this year?
Just got back from seeing Brian Wilson, front row, at the Wiltern Theater in L.A. Brilliant show! His band is absolutely impeccable and Brian was on the ball, tonight. Definitely highly recommended! Well done, Brian!

RE: Post Anything You Want Thread!
Post anything you want, huh? Well, then, I shall come back to bump up this thread and to make an announcement that is even more historic than the recent inauguration. I will say it in my best Chevy Chase impression, circa 1975... Today, I met Brian Wilson, and you didn't. Thank You and Goodnight!

The Official U2 Thread!
So, you might remember these guys from Ireland. Put out some great songs and a classic album back in the 1980's, had another classic album in the 1990's that is arguably their best mixed with, sans a few songs, steaming pile of shit (O.K., maybe it wasn't THAT bad, but... come on!) that is arguably their worst... no, it IS their worst. Yes, that's right, folks: when I'm talking about the 1990's, the classic album I'm referring to is "Pop," while that horrid one I'm talking about is "Achtung Baby!" That's right! Long live "Discotheque!" Yes, that was a joke. I swear. To finish the timeline, though: then they came back with one of their very best to kick off the new millennium and four years later, another good effort. But this last one was almost 5 years ago. These were younger, more innocent times, if you will. Back in these days, we didn't have to pay almost $5 for gas! Heck, Macca has put out two studio albums and one with his other band in that time and if Macca has put out more albums than you based on the rate he's been releasing them the past 20 years, then you're pretty freaking slow. Also... Errrr... you get the idea: it's been a hell of a long time since U2's last album. But that's going to change! Because finally on March 3rd (at least if you're in the U.S.) their new album, "No Line On The Horizon," FINALLY comes out! Their new single, "Get On Your Boots" was released on iTunes on Monday. Here is the link to listen:
Thoughts? While "All That You Can't Leave Behind" and "How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb" were returns to their more traditional/classic sound of the 1980's, this sounds like a return to the experimental stuff of the 1990's. This can be a good thing, if it's in the mold of "Achtung Baby" or not, if it's similar to "Pop." I'm still trying to wrap my head around this song. Not what I was expecting at all. On one hand, I'm thinking: "This isn't bad. Danceable, catchy, weird, and doing something different; I like it." On the other hand: "What the hell?! Some of this is crap!" I need more time to soak this one in. Nonetheless, as I do, this can be a good place to talk about the upcoming album and the group in general. Enjoy! -

Time to give this thread a bump, and I can't think of a better way of doing that than saying that you gotta have...

RE: Post Anything You Want Thread!
So, since this thread is about as alive as a corpse, these days, I thought I'd come on this thread and wish the first artist I actually ever gave a damn about a Happy 74th Birthday! His birthday ended 1 hour and 30 minutes ago (it's currently 1:30 A.M., PST), but what the heck? To The King: HAPPY 74TH BIRTHDAY, ELVIS!! After going through all of his catalog today, very strangely, it's his cover of "Only The Strong Survive" from 1969 that has been sticking with me, tonight. An incredible, soulful version of the original:
Love it, for many reasons. His voice never sounded better than it did during this period (1968-1972). Awesome. Now back to your regularly scheduled programming... -

Yes, that is one sexy Dave Grohl in her avatar. It's very Jenny-ish!
Yes, she's still gaga over him after all these years. : But don't you worry, because after I place a call to a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills, I will look just like him too! That oughta take care of things, I say!
Dave Grohl is pretty hot. I was going to put up an huge poster of him in my dorm room last year...but it wouldn't stay up. I epically failed at using poster putty.
Well, if you had trouble making Dave Grohl stay up, I hear they have medications for that sort of thing, now. It's really nothing to be embarrassed about, you know.
Ohhh Matt. Trust me I don't have a problem with making anyone stay up...just posters.
True, you never could make any posters on here stay up... Kidding!
I missed this.
Yes, you did. LOL, I'm getting a little too silly now, so I'll bow out. But I am wondering just where the hell my dear PJ went? Oh, PJ, where are you?! Come out, come out, wherever you are!
