Peppy Yeah, dunno why you're going to Scort-land when Sean Connery lives in the Carrot-beenin as my son used to call it....
Hahaha, good point Yeah well I'm just going to see the landscape I suppose
david mitchelson:
Peppy Tastes like you're drinking fizzy bubblegum.... There are many delights awaiting you in Scotland......but sadly none of them are posters on PM.com. If Macsslack offers to show you the Trossachs don't worry he's not being filthy and suggestive.....like he normally is!! It's a stunning area of upt north.
Lol@you calling me Peppy I know, Scotland is beautiful. I'll be careful if I see any boardmembers then, thanks for warning me My favourite Scotsman will be far away anyway.
david mitchelson:
Did you know that it' is illegal to import Irn Bru to Canada....it has to be specially modified to pass stringent food and drink laws in North America..... Makes you wonder what's in it that's scares the authorities so. T'would explain those Jock types who frequent this forum.....
Sounds interesting, now I want one even more. You can't get it anywhere here. But next year I'm going to Scotland and will finally have an Irn Bru (in the sun)
Do you serve Irn Bru at this bar?
david mitchelson:
Peppy is right.... Love and peace.
My message got deleted, but I remember I said Love and peace in it, so Peppy must be me, right?

Paul would want ALL of us to demonstrate that same type of behavior. I pick my moments, but sometimes you can really see when a person is just down on their luck and need a compassionate word of encouragement.
i_am_hymn:
It's all about interdependence. With every word we say we create, with each passing now moment. We need everyone around us to do well and to do the right things so we can ultimately benefit from it. If everyone was on the right path, there would be peace from less things to be stressful about. How often do we look at people and see a bit of ourselves in reflection... I am he, as you are he, as you are me, and we are all together...
Very nicely said you two!

None of this matters, years from now history will prove Paul McCartney's place in music history along side John Lennon, Bob Dylan, Frank Sinatra, Brian Wilson, Ray Davies, Rodgers and Hart, Beethoven, Mozart, Elvis Presley, Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Bing Crosby, etc. These same people will be saying when Paul's no longer here how much they loved his music....
I totally agree with this, so sad that people start to talk about this issue. And we don't care how he sounds in the performances, hope he could come to China, he got so many fans here.
Welcome to Paul's forum, Oeanary. All the way from China! I wonder if you're the first person here posting from China? At any rate, we're a feisty bunch with lots and lots of opinions about Paul and his music and his career. Hope you'll be joining in.
Thank you Michelley!!! This is exactly what I wanted to say but I couldn't find the right words! Welcome "on board" oeanary!
SusyLuvsPaul:
Macca gets a bad rap from many 'cause of his brief Olympics stint? That's a load of Paul bashin' bull crap 'cause I saw the first part of the closing Olympics ceremony featuring Brit music, "Our House" and that one by Blur "Park Life" or something like that, and both those songs are quite bland and ordinary and sort of "nothing" and Paul music including his Beatle songs are so VERY superior to such mediocrities as these--and yet Paul is the one battered for the Olympics thing--what's wrong with this picture??? A lot. Then they had Annie Lennox singing something and that was better than the start, and a snippet from a David Bowie number which was too but these too vastly pale in comparison with Paul McCartney songs. So I don't want to hear another word or read anything else about this, I've gotten it right for once and for all--really !!!
Wait a second, Parklife by Blur is far from ordinary. The whole Parklife album is far from that. That's all I wanted to say

Thats a great song. I like "We all stand Together", and "Mull Of Kintyre".
I like Mull of Kintyre, too!

I find "Jenny Wren" boring. Don't like "Here Today" either. -
I need a glasjavascript:emoticon('ops:')s of water.
We really need the glasjavascript:emoticon now and you'd better take another glass of water, audi Cause I don't like Jenny Wren either. There's something about the melody which doesn't sound nice to me and I need to skip to the next song, which is At the Mercy, which I like even less ops: and I have to skip again. But then comes Friends to Go which I love.

Today I want to add the complete London Town album to my list of songs I love which many people don't.
I love most of London Town, the only real weak spots for me are Children Children and Girlfriend, otherwise it's a really enjoyable listen. The album contains one of my favourite Wings songs ever Don't Let It Bring You Down, which for me is a masterpiece.
You are right about Don't let it bring you down, I only really got into it now but it's really good. And I think Morse Moose is brilliant! I must say I even like Children Children and Girlfriend now. Girlfriend is an easy, happy tune.

You are so tired...but some way... you came and opened the PC and take a look and post anything...
