I would agree that this is one of the best McCartney shows ever. Even though there was a DVD put out 3 years ago, I would definitely pay for a DVD of this show because Paul was in such perfect voice. I've never been one that wanted to know the set list in advance. I think I've finally figured out why. With every concert I attend, there is at least one song that brings me to tears and I never know what song it's going to be. In 2002, it was "Hello, Goodbye". I hadn't seen Paul perform live since the 1980s and that was in a stadium. I wasn't sure what to expect of the show. How good would he be? Would I be disappointed? The show was at Reunion Arena in Dallas and my daughters were with me. The emotions started when the silouette of Paul holding the Hofner aloft appeared on the screen and when they started "Hello, Goodbye", I was just blown away by how good they sounded and that I was going to hear my favorite member of my favorite band perform. Sunday night, it was "And I Love Her". I couldn't begin to explain why, but the emotions were so strong I had to lean back against my seat. Those moments are priceless and never to be forgotten.

I have seen Paul four times now. And -- believe me -- he never sang better in the previous three concerts than he did tonight. The man brought it tonight. That was the biggest surprise for me: He was Paul McCartney in nearly top vocal form. The show was short on setlist surprises, however, "Birthday" in the first encore was very unexpected.
I remember some people saying he couldn't sing Maybe I'm Amazed any more. He sang it tonight and nailed it!

I think I've just seen Macca live for the last time.
I've said that after every PM concert I've seen since 2002 but I've been wrong every time. As hard as it might be to believe this might have been his best show yet. The audience was awesome and Paul and the band responded. I'm so glad I made the 6 hour drive!

I had planned to walk to the arena from my hotel near the arch. Might want to re-think that plan due to the rain.

Ticket arrived today via Priority Mail! Also, I'd seen something earlier that had 7:30 as the time. The ticket and the Scottrade website say 8:00.

Hooray! My tickets just arrived from Crowdsurge, via FedEx (signature required, so make sure someone's home)
Did CrowdSurge send you an email before they were shipped?
I literally JUST received an e-mail from Crowdsurge giving me a tracking number and letting me know my tickets have been sent to me... Excitement building as we speak!
Technically, my email says my tickets have been 'dispatched'. Hope that's their way of saying they've been mailed!

Was the hockey team supposed to have a game? Price is lower.
The St. Louis Blues have a game scheduled for November 10th, but the NHL is currently in a lockout and all games up to October 24th have been cancelled. I don't know how that would affect hotel reservations.

hi Macca, Yes you are right they cancel out the less paying booking sites first you have nothing to worry about, also get there early most of the time they will get you in before time. Where are you staying? I would also like to meet you this time around. Are you going to the Irish pub Sat night?
With Priceline, you pay in advance. Do the hotels treat these reservations as 'first come first served' in an overbooking situation? Do they refund your money if they don't save your room?

What's wrong with the ballparks? Like the arena shows, they have their ups and downs. My favorite thing about the stadium shows, are the extensive pyrotechnics for Live and Let Die!
I saw Paul at Texas Stadium in the mid-80s. Our seat was on about the 50 yard line. He looked about 2 inches high from our vantage point. As far as I was concerned, the experience wasn't nearly as special as an arena concert.
Mid-'80s? Did I miss something?
My daughter was born in 1973. She went to the concert with us and she was between 12 and 14.
I'd love to hear about it if you know something we don't but, popular belief here, is that from Wings UK Tour in 1979 to the Get Back World Tour in 1989...there were no tours.
I could be mistaken on the year - I've slept since then. You would think that I would remember the date since her birthday is April 7th!

Bucket List sound check Section B Row 5 Very, very, very happy!
You think Paul's gonna make it to our side of the country again?
Audi are you not going to make this show?? I thought this would be about five hours from you.
I have two others who will be traveling with me, and neither one of them wants to go to Texas or St. Louis. I'm hoping for more options.
Audi....you're killing me. You MUST see Paul again. SOON! Kidnap your friends and hit the road! But seriously...
You'd think I would've learned my lesson by now...
Tell your friends you are going to the St. Louis show and that when he come to some state other than Missouri or Texas, they can come with you to those shows!

I am a newbie to this forum, but I appreciate the help received before the tickets went on sale. We are in Section C Row 22 - four tickets. After my wife and I went to see Paul at Comerica for the first time in Detroit last summer, I was bummed we did not take our college age kids, now 23 and 21. It was such a lifetime memory and special event. Well, I feel very grateful to have a second chance, and they are road tripping with us for this show! Should be a great family experience!
I've attended 5 of Paul's concerts since 2002 and my very favorite is the one that I shared with my daughters. You will love sharing this concert with your kids!

That was painful, but I got it! The floor seats that came up were too far back for someone 5'4" so I got this: Section 102 (Reserved), Row K, Seat 19 (Seated)! HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry to be Debbie Downer, but I am EXTREMELY disappointed in this process. This was the time I wanted to finally splurge on a package, but the sale starts in 15 mins and there are no details available on prices and what I did see for the second level didn't specify rows like it used to. I would think that after all the tours that they would finally have this figured out. I don't think the powers that be realize what it's like on this end.....trying to make plans with friends....how many tickets, what prices, max number of tickets you can buy on regular and presale, coordinating all of this with out of town friends.....there is not enough info to make decisions yet. Was the Premium membership really worth it?....only time will tell, but my patience is running thin!!
Here is some pricing info from the Scottrade website: DATE: November 11, 2012 TIMES: 8:00 p.m. (Doors TBD) TICKETS: Tickets are $250, $165, $87, $57 and $27 and go on sale Friday, Sept. 14 at 10 a.m. Purchase tickets at the Ford Box Office at Scottrade Center, at all Ticketmaster Ticket Centers or online at ticketmaster.com. A per ticket facility fee will be added to the price of all tickets. Additional Ticketmaster fees may apply. Disabled seating, call 314-622-5420 SEATING: TBD

Wish I was 6'4" instead of 5'4" so I didn't have to worry about things like that!

Seating chart shows all as A, B, C on Ticket Master
I saw that. It contradicts what is on the Scottrade site, so it's kind of confusing.

MsProudSooner:
Question about the floor seating. In the diagram, it appears that sections A, B & C run all the way back to the back of the floor. So I'm assuming there would be a seat called Section A, Row 50?
I think I found the answer to my question. The Scottrade website says:
Floor seating sections are labeled by single letters of the alphabet (i.e. "A-G").
I assume that means the three sections in the front are A, B, C. Behind them should be D, E, F and behind that G.
