      Nancy,

I sent a message to Oobu24 because I wasn't sure if I could send a message that you would be able to see on this site.

If you write in this thread (or any thread created prior to Nov. 23rd) I can see it! Only can't access new threads!

I tried the email & password you provided and it said one or both was incorrect. I give up!

How were you able to create that? I couldn't get anything to work properly! See my posts in this thread from today.

I found this in my mom's junk email:

Thank you for registering at Maccaboard. You may now log in by clicking the link below

      Verify

This link can only be used once to log in and will lead you to a page where you can set your password.

When you click on Verify, it doesn't take you to a page where you can set a password. It just takes you to the login page!

      What a mess!

My daughter tried to create an account at her home using her email address, and it said that her email was already registered!!

So NOBODY can create a new account!

I even tried my mom's Outlook email and it claimed it was already registered! Then I clicked on forgot password and I was emailed a link which didn't work. It was only good for changing your password (you had to know your cuttent password)

Did you get a Welcome response on your email(s)?
      Welcome from the Maccaboard?

These would have been sent to your email.

I told you, it wouldn't let me create a new account, even with an email that is NOT registered on here. I'm trying to get my daughter to use her email at her house and create another account that I can use. She is always so busy between work and taking care of her toddler. I have another friend I may ask who is not on here, but is a Macca fan.

Just now, I tried to log in and at first it wouldn't let me - said CAPTCHA session reuse attack detected AND The answer you entered for the CAPTCHA was not correct!  I tried again and thankfully it let me in.

This site is beyond ridiculous now, all because of those spammers who kept getting on here and they had to add all this extra security. I don't know why I am the only one with the new post/new PM problems though. 😢

If you see this Nancy, now would be the time to try your original log in and see if everything works. If it does not, it could be the time to see if you can create a new name. The access denied was not on the page this morning.

I tried both of my emails and even though I only have an account under @bellsouth.net and they said both were already registered, so I tried another I knew wasn’t registered but it still said it was and said CAPTCHA session reuse attack detected AND The answer you entered for the CAPTCHA was not correct!  (they asked like 3 different things which I know I did correctly!)

Liz, please help! I don't know what else to do!

Well, that's because Photobucket started working again! I couldn't tell what I had already posted and tried twice to post the yellow sweater pic, so there you have it! 🙄

Interesting idea.  I may raise hackles here, but the Trump camp were no fans of Baldwin.  Who knows, stranger things have happened:  like an actor (John Wilkes Boothe), shooting a President (Lincoln), in a theater.  Maybe a supporter of a certain President meant to shoot an actor (Baldwin) on a movie set?  In other words the bullet was meant for Baldwin?  But by a strange quirk of fate Baldwin ended up shooting the cinemaphotographer?  Like I said, stranger things have  happened.

Really. See below.  I think Mr. Baldwin is going to have whole bunch of legal problems in the near future if any of this can be verified.

      https://nypost.com/2021/11/17/alec-baldwin-intentionally-fired-deadly-shot-on-rust-film-set-suit/

Hmmmm...Alec appeared on TV interview last week, claiming he never even touched the trigger, but did admit to cocking the hammer of the gun. .And  that he wasn't pointing it at Hutchins, even thou in previous statements, he clearly said he was pointing the gun.  Which is it?  What precisely, is he trying to say?  That the gun fired by itself?  Another question I have is why was he in such a hurry to talk to Hutchin's husband?  If I had just accidently shot & killed somebody, the last person I'd want to see would be their spouse.  Not because I'm a coward, but because I'd be too ashamed.

I saw the interview - he was aiming the gun at her direction, which also was IN her direction. (she was telling him what to do)  He never said he wasn't pointing it at her. He said that she told him to cock the gun and then when he released (uncocked) it the gun went off.  Here's an interesting article I found:

      https://thereload.com/analysis-yes-alec-baldwins-gun-could-have-fired-without-him-pulling-the-trigger/

As to why he went to see her husband & son, he said in the interview he did not feel guilt, only sadness and anger as to how  the live round got in the gun, so he wasn't ashamed.
