I respect Bruce Dickinson's view of the Hall. (google if interested). Paul & the Beatles are there & that's fine. As far as Wings well they had a number of personnel changes throughout their short career which may prevent them from getting voted in.& Denny & Paul were the main talented musicians but perhaps Denny will get in someday. Although I'm not a fan of the album BTTE; guartarist Laurence Juber has had a successful career; too bad the stars weren't aligned for him when Wings were taking off. Having said all that if Jay-Z can get voted into the Mausoleum Wings should be there but that's for the Americans to decide.

RE: Paul McCartney 2021 - Rumours
I don't see any live concerts/theater happening in '21. Large gatherings like these will be the last to get the go ahead. I'm sure there are quite a few people that will think twice about going to another show. The same goes goes for Performers. It's still to early to know about herd immunity, immunization strength & how long it lasts & future viruses. I'm glad I attended quite a few Concerts in my life because right now any future Concerts are out of the question. Anyone else feel the same way or comments? Wishing everyone & their families on the Macca Board a safe/healthy '21.

RE: How much unheard material does Paul have?
I'm sure not long after I've checked out the McCartney Estate will be releasing unheard tracks for years to come & probably digital format. I think we've heard the best he has to offer & at this stage of my life I'm cool w/ that. I'm also okay that my entire McCartney & music collection is going to be sold at a garage sale, pawn shop or given away. I only the people who end up w/ it appreciate it as much as I do.

RE: How many times have you seen Paul live?
Five fantasic concerts between '93 - '16. Perhaps he'll consider touring again in '22.

Couldn't even listen to more than a minute of Dylan murdering Yesterday! Sorry, but I just can't stand his voice!
I totally agree. I don't have any Dylan in my collection. Perhaps we should start a new thread of famous bands/musicians that many people love but we despise. Dylan & The Grateful Dead come to mind.

RE: McCartney III "Secret Demo Editions" (4 different CDs)
darrel wrote:
I will wait for the deluxe edition containing all the tracks when they no doubt announce it after everybody has spent their money buying all these.
If there isn't a deluxe version the additional songs will appear on a bootleg or on YouTube.
I ended up with 3 different versions of Egypt station including the suitcase. Don't feel like getting stung again.
I totally agree. I'll purchase just one of them & do the Youtube downloads as well. Egypt Station was the only Macca release I didn't purchase just did the download. Paul has been overzealous w/ respect to his reissuing recent studio albums w/ bonus tracks. Since Chaos I only purchase one cd & any new tracks I just download for free; thanks Youtube.

I just read about this. WTH? Each one has a different bonus track? Wow. What a way to make money! They sure know his audience.
This is gouging on his part. Seriously; we're in the middle of a worldwide pandemic when many people are struggling to pay bills & put food on the table. This is not the first time he's been underhanded in his recent studio albums releasing additional bonus tracks. Yes; some of you will say "Well, you don't have to buy it" & yes I won't I'll download it for free on Youtube & listen on Spotify. I'll make an additional donation to the Salvation Army this Christmas. Ok! I'm done bitching. Cheers All.

It's easier to answer which one to avoid, which is Band On The Run. Apparently nothing exists in the archives with regards to the original sessions and this is reflected by the disappointing track selection of the Deluxe Edition. Typically Wings best album is the one that is so poorly served.
That is the only one that I did not buy. It had a previous special release for the 25th anniversary which I bought.
Same w/ me. I only purchased the 2cd/dvd Archive. Purchasing the full box would of been redundant & expensive. By far his best Wings album however I agree w/ Kestrel in that the Archive release is disappointing as compared to the other Archives.
Hey man, long time no hear! It's been forever since you've posted!
I may have already asked you this, but who is the guy in your avatar? Every time I see it I think it's David Boreanaz (Buffy, Angel, Bones, SEAL Team) but I know it's not!Canadian recording artist "Roch Voisine" check him out on Youtube; I think you may enjoy his music particularly the albums I'll Always be There & Kissing Rain. Thanks for asking about my avatar. Oh! It's summer & I've been spending quite a bit of time outside gardening, landscaping as we recentlly moved into our dream home that we built on the shores of Georgian Bay 90 minutes north of Toronto. Enjoy reading you posts as well as those of the other Fans. I really like the picture thread as I often save them on my Pinterest "Paul McCartney Friends & Family" Keep Well & safe. Cheers. Andy

Once he's ousted from the White House & goes back to New York they are going to throw the book at him. Let's hope the weak man has a lengthly stay in the big house.

RE: FLAMING PIE (DELUXE EDITION) - WHAT’S YOUR BOX NUMBER?
Just opened mine yesterday (7377) & have downloaded onto Laptop & various devices. Finished listening to all cd's & watched In The World Tonight which I haven't seen in years from my VHS copy. This is probably my favorite archive release of Paul's solo career. Hope everyone is pleased w/ this rather expensive archive release.

I believe you'll both receive your packages no later than next week... with a little luck, maybe even this week!
I hope so.
Mine shows as being in Doraville, GA and supposed to be delivered by 9pm today!
Mine was shipped on Thursday & it's out for delivery; perhaps today I'll receive it. I understand post office/couriers have been very busy. After all we are in a pandemic.

RE: What are fans doing to pass the time during this Coronavirus period?
We recently moved into our new home that we built on the shores of Georgian Bay. Unpacking & organizing for a couple of weeks. Outside landscaping completed; hopefully our sod will be laid this week. I'm really happy I don't live in an urban area anymore. Coping well w/ the social distancing however I really miss the gym as I'm there faithfully 5-6 days a week for 2 hours. Run almost daily between 8-12k & cycle a few days a week, do some core work to keep trim/healthy. Built a firepit so we have cocktails, tunes & watch amazing sunsets over the Bay sitting in our muskoka chairs.
I hope all the Macca fans are healthy & keeping well.

RE: Any Electric Vehicle Owners Out There?
Bruce M. wrote:
Hey folks, any other electric vehicle owners out there in Maccaland? In early March I leased a 2020 Hyundai Kona Electric and just totally love it to pieces, even though I'm driving less than normal right now for reasons that are probably obvious. Are there any other EV drivers on here?
By the way, if you're curious about the ins and outs of driving an electric car, I am happy to answer any questions. I'm already sure I will never, ever go back to gasoline-powered transportation.
Almost; I own a '19 Lexus RX hybrid SUV. Fuel economy is excellent. Perhaps my next vehicle will be battery powered. Great you're enjoying your new vehicle.

RE: The 25 Greatest English Rock Bands
Missing Motorhead. I would of expected Iron Maiden in the top 5. Seriously; the Sex Pistols in the top 25?
