I'm too stingy (and poor, probably) to want to buy the extras, especially just "dice" and extras with dice on them. All the "merch." Also, I'm not a child and don't have to have toys! Or not many "toys" anyway. Sure, that Egypt Station suitcase is really cute, but I'm more interested in "just" the music.
On the other hand--my brother is a classic supposedly immature "geek" and collected all kinds of toys and stuff all his life and kept it all in pristine condition and now I hear he has to have an accountant ! And apparently doesn't have to hold a regular job ! Just a sort of nothing part-time one. That's wild ! So was I really the "smart" one after all, LOL. Not to want to collect all that Batman, Superman, Star Wars and X-Men comics and such. Mountains of it. (sobs)
I am with you Suzy, just give me the plain old CD/album and you can keep all the rest of the stuff -lol.

I will wait for the deluxe edition containing all the tracks when they no doubt announce it after everybody has spent their money buying all these.
If there isn't a deluxe version the additional songs will appear on a bootleg or on YouTube.
I ended up with 3 different versions of Egypt station including the suitcase. Don't feel like getting stung again.

3 versions of Egypt Station here too, including the suitcase. And you still need to buy the remix of Nothing For Free and the In A Hurry/Home Tonight single to get everything commercially issued from the sessions.
I've resigned myself to the fact I will always buy multiple copies of Paul's albums. I think the last studio album that I've only bought one copy is Electric Arguments, which is one of my regrets that I passed on the deluxe. It seemed to me so expensive at the time for the additional content, but now when I see it on ebay it is outrageous.

Japanese SHM-CD with 4 bonus tracks... which I assume are the 4 demos offered on individual CDs in other countries:

I asked on the other thread and nobody answered - what does SHM stand for?

Why do the Japanese get to have that ! Oh well it'll be on sale online, won't it, that Japanese special, on ebay and Amazon?
Are they all "demo" on the Japanese one; I might prefer the "final" version, the polished bonus songs instead of the demo of each. Wouldn't the final version sound better?

Its because imported albums are a lot cheaper than domestic albums are. So the Japanese record companies get to put on exclusive tracks on albums sold in Japan as a way of an incentive to buy 'local' rather than go for cheap imports. This has been going on for decades. Of course these albums with the bonus tracks are then exported to become imported copies for the rest of the world.

I have placed my order on CDJapan for the Japanese red cover CD with 4 bonus tracks and an exclusive 2021 calendar:
https://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/UICY-15964
I'm guessing he same 4 bonus tracks are being offered in Japan (in one disc) and elsewhere (across 4 discs), but you never know.
By the way, Japan Post is has temporarily suspended certain shipping methods in certain countries:
https://www.cdjapan.co.jp/feature/COVID19_Shipping_Restriction_Summary
CDJapan is accepting orders with this warning: "the shipping method you selected is temporarily suspended. However, we can accept your order, and will ship out once the suspension is lifted".
They also say "We can keep all products for an unlimited period of time. Your first press or external bonus status, if any, will also be secured during this time".

I saw all that when I ordered. I just rolled the dice (pun intended!) and went for the cheapest shipping of $8.33 or something close to that.
I was wondering that too - are we getting the same 4 bonus tracks? I would say probably, but you never know with MPL!

Well, after all this time broke down and purchased the red edition that comes with a t-shirt and red box. Wanted the blue but the shirt was sold out in the size I wanted. For anyone wondering, shipping is $6.00 which I think is about £8.00 for those in UK but sihipping rates may not be directly comparable.
Unfortunately, they ship it on the 18th of December rather than earlier with the hopes of it arriving on the 18th. With Christmas shipping at a frenzy by then, it will probably show up around the time McCartney IV comes out.

I just read about this. WTH? Each one has a different bonus track? Wow. What a way to make money! They sure know his audience.
This is gouging on his part. Seriously; we're in the middle of a worldwide pandemic when many people are struggling to pay bills & put food on the table. This is not the first time he's been underhanded in his recent studio albums releasing additional bonus tracks. Yes; some of you will say "Well, you don't have to buy it" & yes I won't I'll download it for free on Youtube & listen on Spotify. I'll make an additional donation to the Salvation Army this Christmas. Ok! I'm done bitching. Cheers All.

I totally agree. I'll purchase just one of them & do the Youtube downloads as well. Egypt Station was the only Macca release I didn't purchase just did the download. Paul has been overzealous w/ respect to his reissuing recent studio albums w/ bonus tracks. Since Chaos I only purchase one cd & any new tracks I just download for free; thanks Youtube.

It wasn't that long ago I was watching a video of a meeting being held at MPL between Paul and a bunch of marketing guys and he was listening to their ideas and was either agreeing or disagreeing with them. I'm fairly sure that there isn't any promotion going on without his approval. But its true that everyone is jumping on the bandwagon now and as the old saying goes, 'if you can't beat them, join them'.
Between the US & UK there are now (at least) 38 permutations of items that can be bought regarding McCartney lll. Good luck to anyone who really has to have everything.
Even I'M not that crazy!
So how many did you get? I may have got too many as I was at my sisters when they came out and I was able to buy them from her computer. Yikes!
I'm surprised they are sold out of some of those colored vinyls. They would make great Christmas pressies! Oy, now ornaments too... trying to debate on whether to get a t-shirt that was previously sold out. I'll have extra CD's to give if I do that!

I got the regular CD from Amazon and the CD from Japan that has the red dice on cover and the 4 bonus tracks. No vinyl.
Wonder what the heck this is:
