I'm not sure if this has been posted yet but has anyone heard about NASA planning to experiment on monkeys? I read an article and it said that Paul McCartney had written a letter to NASA asking them not to do it. I hope they don't do it! Why should we make animals suffer for our own knowledge?!? Doesn't seem right to me. What are your views? The Articles http://www.bostonherald.com/news/national/general/view.bg?articleid=1277496 http://www.mirror.co.uk/celebs/news/2010/08/27/paul-mccartney-begs-nasa-to-cancel-space-monkey-experiments-115875-22517136/
It makes me sick and ashamed of being a human when my own species kills or mis treats other earthlings! It's horrible and i don't understand how people can do it?!? Sometimes i just sit and think about what people do and it makes me cry . My friend from Germany has a horse and she told me the other day that soem people had broken into the stable and raped and abused the horse it made me so sick and disgusted. I actually wanted to hurt those people but i know if i did it would make me as bad as them. But seriously whyy My dream is for this world to change into a world of peace + love and i know i'm not the only one. Love Serena xxx
Great drawing!! I have a Meat Free Monday sign in my window

I was just browsing through the threads & I must admit, I'm too afraid to watch any of those videos I've been a veggie for almost 16 years, due to being a huge animal lover. I felt like a hypocrite ... hugging & kissing animals & then eating them!! YUCK!! So I stopped. I have a 14 month old daughter, who I hope will be veggie too, but for now (as my Mam is minding her while I'm at work) I suppose, it's whatever is made for her ... but, can people please educate me?! Is it ok for a baby to be veggie?? I'm not veggie for health reasons (totally moral reasons!!) so I'm not 100% sure. And if so, where can I get advice?? My daughter isn't a picky eater (thank God!!) so I just want to know what to do to make the transition into full-blown vegetarianism easier on her. Thank you all xxx
Hello I watched the whole video and i couldnt stop crying =( It's horrible what humans are capable of it kinda scares me aswell =(. I looked up about vegetarian babies and this is what i found sounds good to me http://www.babycentre.co.uk/baby/startingsolids/vegetarianbaby/ xx
Thank you so much, Serena ... you're a star I'm gonna look into this, now that I've re-failed my exams, so that I can get my daughter into eating veggie meals ... cos, I aint gonna cook dead meat ... EVER!!! xxx
No problem at all. I wish you all the luck in the world on giving your baby a veggie diet i think it's a great idea . I think if i ever have children i will try the vegitarian diet for them as i'm a veggie too. xx
