We're flying up the day before but only from Bristol. I'd tried to get Hot Sounds tickets in Liverpool but they were sold out. Still, fingers crossed and here's hoping that they do Mull of Kintyre. Can't wait!

Here are my pictures from Prague:
Fantastic, thank you. The ones I took were rubbish - very disappointed. I was in Hot Sounds seats at the side of the stage but the lighting from that angle really messed with the quality of my shots. Lovely to see these

The organisation has mentioned that the show will start at 20.00 sharp (O2 has a strict 2300 curfue). As Czech people tend to show up last minute at events and lines at O2 can get long make sure you come on time
Thanks - we'll be there early as we're going to the soundcheck too

It's this week, only a few more days to go. We're flying out to Prague on Wednesday morning and back on Friday evening so should be a good break with Paul in the middle. Who else will be there? Hope everyone is excited!

Anyone happen to get any photos of the crowd near the front of the stage? I'm trying to find a photo of myself
Where were you sitting/standing? I was five rows back in the centre, maybe I got something.

If anyone has the sound check set list, could you post it, please? I was there but I can't remember, never bring a pen and people back home are asking about it. Thanks so much! ops: BTW it was a fantastic night! The Liverpool crowd was on it's feet pretty much the entire show and with good reason. Paul was in great voice, except when he got choked up after TLAWR, when his voice cracked with emotion during the next two songs. I think it was a very emotional night for everyone.
I didn't write it down either! However, I know someone who did, so here you go: Paul McCartney soundcheck set list Liverpool 28th May 2015 Paul on Les Paul guitar ? ?Honey Don?t?, ?Blue Suede Shoes? (slow version) Paul on Hofner bass ? ?Flaming Pie?, ?Get Back?, ?Penny Lane? (with false start) Paul playing piano ? ?C Moon?, then a slow instrumental with one verse of vocal ? possible new song, ?Let ?Em In? Paul playing acoustic guitar ? ?Alligator? ? requested by fan, ?It?s So Easy? (Buddy Holly?s song), ?Every Night? Paul playing 12-string guitar ? ?Midnight Special? Paul playing ukulele ? ?Ram On? Paul playing Red Rose Speedway acoustic guitar, restrung right-handed ? ?Bluebird? Paul playing synth ? ?Lady Madonna? ? he said he didn?t have to test the synth, he just liked playing around with it! We both had a fantastic time - still recovering!!

We've now decided to head down on Wednesday so that we're not worrying about parking and arriving on time for the soundcheck. So it's a night out in Liverpool tomorrow night! Exciting times

Hope everyone that's now travelling for the gig is getting there in one piece, without any strikes to hold them up. Thursday will be here before we know it

Definitely excited! Have you been to one before? I keep asking Event Travel about whether I can bring in my non-professional little camera or not but they won't answer me. Any idea?
I went to the soundcheck in Cologne in 2011. They definitely allow small cameras in the soundcheck as I took some photos then but, as ECB wrote, they definitely don't want you to take videos - and they do watch you to make sure you're not trying to do it! I'm used to using a dslr camera with a good lens so the small compacts are a bit rubbish. I have to admit I bought myself a Canon Powershot S95 specifically for that gig as it was supposed to be good in low light!! Results were okay, but not brilliant. I also reckon I missed quite a lot of the previous concert because I was too worried about getting photos so maybe this time I'll try and relax a bit more and just enjoy!! It's so expensive to do the soundchecks but it's definitely worth it. Do you know where you're sitting for the concert?

Hello everyone. It's been a long time since I last posted on these forums. Best news of the year for me! I'm coming up on the 27th, so luckily I miss the train strike and the Cunard event that is supposedly going to cause a bit of chaos in Liverpool. I'm staying at the Premier Inn in Albert Dock. Is anyone else? This will be the one and only time I'm going to do VIP, so I'll be going to the soundcheck. Is anyone else doing the soundcheck? Also.... I've never been to Liverpool before so I might get lost!!
Hi Frankie, My husband, Ian, and I will be at the soundcheck - see you there! We're staying at the Hilton. We'll probably get lost too, it's years since I've been in Liverpool We'd thought about going down to see the three queens but have decided against it due to expected chaos!! Excited, or what?!!!

Thanks Sheryl--I just got a "coach" ticket--it cost much less than the train. Now, to try to get a refund on the train ticket. It looks like all of the trains and buses leave from "The Station" at the Manchester airport, correct? I'm hoping that it is not too far from Terminal 3 to the bus!
You go from terminal 3 through terminal 1 to the station. It really isn't very far. Just look for the signs to the station. Have a safe trip

I also just received an email from the Trainline.com telling me that the train employees are planning a strike on May 25, 26. I was training it from Manchester to Liddypool--NOW what?
You can get a coach or bus from Manchester to Liverpool, takes less than an hour. Google it - there are several companies where you can book online. Good luck!
