Paul puts a lot of effort and imagination into his videos. I always look forward to seeing them. Early days is a beautiful song and the video goes really well with it. I like way he has used black and white to give the video a traditional feel.

RE: I hope The Beatles Grammys Special Comes Out on DVD
Me to. It would be nice if they also included on the DVD the songs that Paul sang that weren't in the TV show.

RE: 'The Beatles in Mono' to Get Lavish Vinyl Release This Fall
Would love to buy the box set but unfortunately can't buy everything released. Certainly buying Sgt peppers. The mono version is so much better than the stereo.

I always thought it said "to your mind". But I could be wrong.

RE: Bassist John Clayton on McCartney [Kisses On The Bottom]
Thanks for that. Very interesting.

RE: Family/Friends who don't share your Beatles fascination
Definably but they have learnt to tolerate my passion. Fortunately there are a lot of like minded people on Facebook who understand a Beatles obsession.

RE: Your latest Paul purchases
A book titled "Paul McCartney Recording Sessions (1969-2013)". It's got details of all of Pauls post Beatles songs. Very detailed, a really good book. Well worth buying.

RE: It's The Singing That Makes RAM Paul's Best Album
Ram has always been one of my favorite Macca albums. The musicianship is tight and Pauls vocals are superb. In my opinion it is a great album with a good mix of rockers and ballads.

RE: Do You Have A "Go To" Beatles Album?
Rubber Soul (UK version). It has has such a great variety of songs. But ask me tomorrow and I may have a different answer.

RE: Who has been a Beatles fan for 50 years?
In 1963 I was 9 years old and lived in England. Have been a fan from the beginning. First single "She Loves You", first ep "Twist and Shout" but had to wait until 1967 for my first album "Sgt Peppers".

RE: Should I get Live at the BBC?
Yes. Definately. I have volume 1 and it's great to hear the songs performed "live".

RE: What's Your Paul Ringtone?
It's amazing the impact that rooster had in a silent office.

"Day Tripper" opening guitar. Bagpipes from "Mull Of Kintyre" sometimes. Once had the rooster from "Good Morning" but the rooster became to irritating.
Now, that rooster would be cool! Last time I had a ringtone it was for the Twilight Zone. I went into a big meeting where the Managing Director was about to announce a whole lot of staff cuts. I forgot to turn off my phone. Right after he said, "I've got some announcements to make that will impact everyone" - and everyone was sitting in suspense - my phone went off and on came the Twilight Zone tone, full blare. Quite embarrassing. But I might have to get the "Good Morning Good Morning" one.

RE: "New" Reviews
Having reverted to my teenage days, (yes, I can remember that far back) and playing "New" many times since yesterday afternoon I am of the opinion that this is a 5 star album. There is a good variety of songs and the musicianship is excellent. Stand out tracks for me are: "Queenie Eye", "On My Way To Work" and "Get Me Out Of Here". But I don't believe there are any weak tracks and I suspect my favorite tracks may change. Paul McCartney's song writing is fresh and his songs are full of energy.

RE: The Greatness of Wings Over America (WOA)
So right. This was the best line up. I saw them when they came to Australia in 1975. Best concert I've seen. The band was in fine form and being pre Speed of Sound the set was a bit different.

RE: The Greatness of Wings Over America (WOA)
I agree. WOA is a great album, one that I never get tired of. My view is that the Venus and Mars/ Rock Show / Jet opening is one of the best (if not the best) openings to any concert I've seen. There is not a weak track on this album and the band are in great form. Also the more I see Rockshow the more I enjoy it.

RE: Rockshow DVD/Blu-Ray - Your Thoughts
Sounds ok to me. Maybe it's your player or maybe you've got a dodgy disc? Maybe worth checking it out.

RE: Rockshow DVD/Blu-Ray - Your Thoughts
electricargument. I have played about half of the DVD and my view is that it is excellent. The sound is really good and the picture is a lot clearer and brighter than the video. Personally I think this is a must have DVD for Paul McCartney/Wings fans. Hope you get as much enjoyment from Rockshow as I have.

RE: Rockshow DVD/Blu-Ray - Your Thoughts
Agree. I was also expecting a standard single DVD. Was really excited to see the book. Have been looking forward to this release and have not been disappointed.
