Never stopped praying for you (((Paul))).
Here's praying that this board can once again be as fun as it once was.
I've always enjoyed Wonderful Christmastime.
But for those who don't care for it, I say if you think of it as someone working through a stressful holiday season saying through clenched teeth (faking it til they make it): "Simply...having...a...WONDERFUL...Christmastime!" It works just as well.
I saw it the other day. Wish the songs were more catchy and memorable. The only one that sorta stuck was "Tripping the Light Fantastic." Dick van Dyke's bit was brilliant.

Hi Tori, I'd like to know where Podgie is too! I only been on the Maccaboard for a few years, but remember seeing an old thread of the "It's a Wonderful Life" parody that Podgie did, where he photoshopped photos of Paul over Jimmy Stewart, it was really funny and creative, and made me laugh outloud. So glad to see you here and hopefully Podgie will be back too
Hi LadyLeslie. He may have finished the one I started years ago called "It's a Wunderful Larf"and never finished, or stated a new one. Podgy (what a guy) Monkey.
My ufo is double-parked, so I'll fly around and see what I can do.

OMG! I don't actually know you but I remember Podgie wishing you were here. He doesn't come around much anymore but a few of his friends do. I hope one of them sees this & gets in contact with you.
Thanks, oobu24. I hope so, too.
Peradventure, I could start the In Search of Podgie tour. I guess I should start at the zoo, think happy thoughts, and look for monkey prints.
Dear Paul.
Love the new do.
It's you.
Touch of gray.
What else can I say?
Yuppers.

Tori (still) in Texas
Wait...Podgie, you're in 2016? No, no, no. Meet me in 2019. Remember to set the flux-capacitor to 2019. Anytime in January will do. And be sure to hit 88 mph!!
Now if I can adjust the Tardis...dang, I droppped the sonic screwdriver. Where is David Tennant when you need him? Sheesh. Hope you get this message. OK. Meet you in 2019.
Hellloooooo...Podgie?
Hello again. Wait. What year is it?!? Dang...I think I overslept.
I had the weirdest dreams. Happy New Year ((((Alice)))) and everyone in Wunderlandt.

What is funny with this thread is how many things in it, ended up having something happen in real life. I remember the Paul as Batman, and within a week they arrested someone at Buckingham Palace dressed like Batman. Also, the Paul Star Trek...to make it seem far in the future I had Paul holding a newspaper that read "Red Sox Win World Series" (figuring with their streak it would be very far off in the future)...whodathunk, they go and win that year! I think there are other things also. Those two stand out for me. Podgie (Maybe we're psychic...we definitely have the Vulcan mindmeld) Monkey
Maybe we're Comically Conscious Mmmmmmmmm.....Peradventure.... (Ed McMahon off-camera: "The answer is Peradventure...") CarMac the Magnificant (tearing open envelope) "What's more fun than the Apple Adventure?"
Hey Podgie...another peradventure deja vu...

According to one Hollywood insider, Paul McCartney will appear as a celebrity guest at the 27-year reunion. ?He?s hilarious,? says the source. ?The Muppets keep asking what it?s like to be a Beatle and he keeps telling them he has a new band now. They don?t care at all. They just want to hear about the Beatles.? full story: http://community.tvguide.com/blog-entry/TVGuide-News-Blog/Tv-Guide-News/Muppet-Reunion-Paul/800019152#comments

Just thinking about the Frog Chorus... It's a wonderful children's song, although it's not appreciated as such. I think it would be cute if Paul did a cameo on Sesame Street and sang the Frog Chorus/We All Stand Together with Kermit and a pond full of frogs. Wonder if Beatrice watches Sesame Street. Bet she'd get a kick out of seeing Daddy with Kermit. I imagine something like this:

Man, it would be cool if Paul were on the Muppet Show. I can just picture..."Mahna Mahna...Hey Jude!" Podgie (I bet Bea would love it!...I know I would!) Monkey

Who knows...Allister Crowley was on the cover of Sgt. Pepper and Paul often refers to magic (magick?) Your other photo years back with Sean Lennon as Harry Potter was a good fit. Great job with the photos, as always Podgie. Hey...wait...is Abe's a drumstick?!?

or a meet and greet with a few at each venue with the same premise of the lottery.
Good idea!
While I was mowing the lawn, I had an idea for promotion. What if during the next tour (and if there are any future secret gigs) there is a drawing at each venue for people to win signed CDs and posters. What if Paul signed maybe 10 or 20 items to be given away at each venue? The promotion could be that registered members on the board or on the main sites, paulmccartney.com or meyesight.com are given a number. At the concert they register that number and their name somehow. I was thinking a kiosk or something where, once they enter their number they're given a raffle ticket sort of thing. Something that prevents people from stuffing the ballot box, as it were. Then during the show, have a drawing and the winners show ID and can pick up their signed item after the show. Some kind of perk for being a member of the site/board. Just an idea, anyway. Tori
