They're there. Just way back through the pages. This thread has been our home for nearly 15 years. It feels like home. Plus, we did all our excitement when the announcement came, when tickets went on sale and when they arrived. There's not much else we can do until next week.

A bit of a spread in The Big Issue today. I've not had a look at it but I'll be reading it during the slower moments at work tonight.

RE: 'Walter' Short Film Trilogy Inspired by Macca
Walter II is released tomorrow. Set in 1978, this episode sees David decideing to reach out to Jack Mossman, his former co-conspirator to try and patch up the relationship they left behind 10 years before. But before that, the full versions of the two songs The Cornerstones performed on The Raymond Wilson Show (three guesses what that's based on). I had a really fun time emulating the sound of the music of the time and the style of studio camera work.

'Walter' Short Film Trilogy Inspired by Macca
Hi all, About 18 months ago, I started developing the largest film project I'd undertaken at that time - a short film trilogy inspired by the life of Paul McCartney. 'Walter' follows the life of David Walter, former member of the biggest band in history: The Cornerstones. The films explore the role music plays in our lives; getting us through the bad times and helping us celebrate the good. Each short film is set in a different period in history: Walter I in 1969, Walter II in 1978 and Walter III in 2012. Walter I has been released today with II and III to follow in the next 2 weeks. In Walter I, The Cornerstones are breaking up. David (James Coley) flees to Scotland with his wife Sally (Trelawny Kean) to find out who he is outside of the group that's been his whole life for so long. Walter I:
I have to say here that the events in the films are merely inspired by the man we all love and the things that happen in the films aren't necessarily historically accurate. -

Funny that it mentions the meet and greet once in that paragraph and never again, not even in the terms and conditions (yes, I read them - I'm a nerd).

Oh my god, it's not long now! I can't wait! I'd love to meet Paul at the airport. Anyone got any ideas on how to go about it/find out/make a guess at his flight arrival? It would be a domestic flight so he might even come into Essendon on a charter, I have no clue. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Yeah, I was wondering about that. I can't really see him getting the SkyBus from Tullamarine!

I hope he doesn't come on too early down here. If the show does start at 6:30 (let's say 7PM), it will still be light for the first hour and a half of his set. The Live and Let Die pyrotechnics will still be in the dark so that's alright.
I agree that a late start would be ideal for Melbourne. In Brisbane, it looks like dusk will be two hours earlier, half of which is due to a lack of daylight saving in Queensland. Is it to late to campaign to have daylight saving cancelled in Victoria? ð???
It's never too late to try and get rid of Daylight Savings. I like my nights dark! The thing is, it's the wrong way around as well, surely. We should be getting an extra hour of daylight in Winter so that it gets dark at 6PM instead of 5PM. Then when we reset later in the year it gets dark at 7 instead of 8.
Iâ??m confused. Daylight Savings Time is started in the Spring which allows for more hours of sunlight in the evening. Why would you want more evening sunlight hours in the Winter? I prefer my mornings dark and evenings light (Iâ??m a night owl and sleep 2 am to 10 am) so I wish we were on permanent DST. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daylight_saving_time
I would rather it not existed, to be honest. But my thinking was this: At present you get more hours of light in the Summer but fewer hours in Winter. If you did it the other way around, it would be roughly equal. In Winter, it's getting dark by 5PM. Summer, about 8PM. Swap around the direction the clocks go and now in Winter it gets dark at 6PM and in Summer 7PM. More or less the same all year round.

What happens if you do Soundcheck? Do you wait around in the stadium until the doors open or do you go out and come back in?

It looks to be about middle of the floor off to Rusty's side.
thanks, yeh I know the position, I'm just wondering in the scheme of the size of the place how close it is, all good, thanks anyway
You can go and have a look, actually. If you go up the stairs, there's a big glass wall to one side and you can see right out onto the field.

The program sold in Brazil is the same as the latest USA version. It does not include the December dates.
Makes me wonder whether they'll be included in December!

Interesting... Did the Hot Sound ticket arrive on the same day as the others, or was it sent later?
They all arrived at once. I had four envelopes in all. My Hot Sound for the 5th, my nosebleed for the 6th, the two for my parents' and the three for my cousins. Each were a different transaction so I'm assuming that's the manner. These are my two.

RE: Brisbane, QLD - Suncorp Stadium - December 9th - CONFIRMED
I have Hot Sound for Melbourne and all of my tickets have arrived (I have an el cheapo seat for the second night and bought some for computer-challenged family members). The VIP one looks no different to the rest bar for a little black box with 'VIP HOT SOUND PACKAGE' written in. I'd imagine this is for venue entry and we'll get all the rest of it at the time and place specified in the email (sounds rather seedy like that, doesn't it?).

RE: One on One Tour Merchandise
Has anyone got a photograph of this waistcoat? I rather like waistcoats so I'd like to have a look at this. Probably a bit too expensive for me but you never know. I could win the lottery between now and December (unlikely given that I don't actually play). When you say 'on the sleeve', where do you mean?

Paul was in as fine as his voice can ever be at this age. He may have been better than he was in 2015 at Joe Louis Arena. A 4 to 5 day break does wonders to his voice. He did not falter at the beginning of Maybe I'm Amazed.
Just going off the YouTube videos alone, he sounds way better now than he did at any point last year. Maybe I'm Amazed this time around is way stronger than, say, the Desert Trip version.
