-
I think the problem may be with the 2 diff threads. engaged & is it married? They should be linked.

Ah, yes--I agree! Mods?
-
McCartney's thread from the Broadcast section has already been merged with this one, even before the 2 of you (oobu24 and Nancy R) asked. Isn't it amazing how the mods foresee all our wishes?
-
Amazing! But no one knew & no one reads backwards in these threads.
-
Apparently I occasionally read backwards in any thread. And it appears to be worthwhile
-
Perhaps you feel she is unapproachable because unlike someone who remains nameless, Nancy prefers to remain in the background. She exudes a quiet serenity.
-
So they are waiting Until AFter Rosh Hashonah A great way to start the New Year. Or are they already hitched? love doris

Point of order: We welcome helpful suggestions when duplicate topics are making following a subject complicated. BUT .... Contrary to popular belief, we do not read every post in every topic to catch these shout outs to the mod team with such suggestions. In general they get missed - and somehow we get the stick for not spotting them and acting Please, we don't bite and welcome helpful suggestions. please send a private message along to one of us and we'll act - obviously, if we agree. The longer two duplicate topics needlessly exist the more confused the final topic becomes when we do indeed merge them. Cheers Martin

It usually isn't a big deal. Just a comment. No biggie. edit to clarify...threads..no biggie. Paul's wedding... BIGGIE And again...wishing them all the love & happiness in the world!

Is it a media blackout or has he not got married again yet
We all know how important Paul is, but why the heck would there be a media blackout?
-
When it comes to his personal life, while there are certain things I'm sure Paul would happily share with the world, there are also certain things that must remain private for personal & safety reasons. The media, among others is not always very kind when it comes to respecting Paul's privacy and/or his personal life. I wish Paul & Nancy a beautiful wedding & all the happiness on their special day.
-
Read something about their plan to get hitched at the same official location, a government building in London, where McCartney married Linda. If true, doubtless that place has a lot of personal meaning to him. Seems a bit odd choosing that venue, though--seems like he'd want to keep that location sacred and special to Linda's memory, or something. Perhaps it's a triumphant indication that Shevell is as special and good as Linda, to him.

Same here and I do hope they are able to do the wedding as privately as they can accomplish. I hope it can be kept quiet until it is over.

I really don't see anything odd about it. I mean, what where his other options in London? It might just be the nicest place. Quite a lot of people get married there not just celebs.
-
Muzel tov to both I wish them both well. Its the marriage not the Wedding that is important love doris
-
I read just a few minutes that BBC said that the wedding was officialy registred, and they had 15 days for give the "yes". I guess they may get married anytime. Is very twisted, and the media, uf! is worst. Anyway is the price one star must pay. And I'm yet so sad by the marriage that I hope it happen soon...(tears no more)
-
I praying for it to go well for them I think it is the best thing for Paul and Nancy they are good together. love doris

To be fair, there are millions of options in London. I would say this is probably the most convenient one for Paul, rather than the nicest.

If they do proceed at the actual Registry Office and not one of the 136 approved locations associated with this office, then the venue does have family associations beyond that of Paul and Linda's marriage venue. Only last year Mary married at this location, so it's clear the venue is familar territory. Again a secret hit and run: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1287207/Mary-McCartney-marries-telling-dad.html Martin

Just read some article in the Daily Mail. Who are these friends and why does the Mail publish what these friends tell them when no one with any self respect would treat their readers with such contempt and expect them to believe such tittle-tattle?
