Excuse me - the point is simply all the accusations against William Jefferson Clinton while Governor and afterward did not stop him staying in office and/or from running for President. And it didn't stop voters from electing him To quote Billy Joel, "We didn't start the fire" Here's a "non fox" source - All the President's women (BBC) - http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/special_report/1998/clinton_scandal/49771.stm

Fox is owned by News Corp...Rupert Murdock's floundering company At this point, with all the information that has come out about Murdock people who believe the crap they're spewing are indeed lemmings.
Murdoch baptized his kids ( yes like Paul he still pumping them out) on the banks of Jordan which runs through Israel. Hey Andy you don't think there a media plan to discredit the OWS?
the best thing I read at Occupy AJ's this past week was "I dont' care that you're rich. I don't like you buying my government."

Occupy Seattle surrounded the Sheridan hotel where Jamie Dimon was staying. Police put up chain link fence and pepper spray crowd. And I though we only had police security for dignitaries. Who knew Jamie Dimon of JP Morgan Chase has such connectioning :
Do these clowns even have a point? I mean 'we're against corporate greed' is a pretty broad and unfocused mission statement, doncha think? For some reason, the Janis Joplin lyric 'Having lots of freedom means nothing left to lose' somehow pops up in my mind when thinking of these 'protesters'...LOL
Yes, many of them do have a point if you actually stopped to talk with some of them. my favorite thing one said at Occupy AJ's was, I don't care that you're rich. I just don't like you buying my government.

Occupy Wall St (& elsewhere) "... Rampant drug use, rapes, theft, smashed windows, public urination, defecation and sex, and physical clashes with police have made these demonstrations into hotbeds of chaos---which is what the organizers would like to export to the rest of country." Monica Crowley, Nov. 3, 2011 ---------------------- "Somehow I expected them all to own their own little shops. I expected them to all be nice and clean and friendly and happy ... (instead I found them to be) hideous, spotty little teenagers" who "were all terribly dirty and scruffy." George Harrison
In Detroit, to protestors keep the drug dealers and hookers away who usually populate that park.

I hope you're watching Cain's press conference...he's describing exactly as I thought...a ploy by the Dems to try to derail him. He hasn't even ever met the last accuser...The sure the Daily KOS will say otherwise and you keep believing that toilet paper...LOL

Any media plan should be to report the news & be honest. Unfortunately, every news group - print and/or broadcast - tends to slant each story to fit their own agenda and/or please the "corner office", the stockholders, certain politicians, or protesters. This includes CBS, NBC, Fox (general) & Fox (cable), CNN, NPR, ABC, MSNBC, BBC, PBS, and all the rest liberal, conservative and everything inbetween, political & unpolitical Get my drift : Even your own and/or my celebrated news sources have their own prejudice. The best thing is using several sources (that are very different). I hate bland news - who try to please everyone instead of stepping on some toes (and different toes instead of the same toes). btw - I miss MikeMc (if you read this - please stop by and share some of your views)

OWS movement is perfect - they don't do anything wrong ...they don't break any laws (including the leaders) ... Occupiers terrorize us: eatery A business owner ... has been repeatedly harassed and threatened with bodily harm by protesters after she and her employees refused to give in to their outlandish demands. ... ?I?ve been told, ?Watch your back!? 10 times,? ... ?They use one of our doorways as a bathroom, and we have to scrub it down every morning. whole story: http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/manhattan/occupiers_terrorize_us_eatery_o4dKzxi3n03WyJWAJu4AhO

For a movement with apparently 'no organization or no major mainstream support' OWS is accomplishing some incredible things. Looks like in just a month about 60 billion dollars have moved from trad banks to non profit credit union...that is not even counting community bank transfers. And it's just beginning every Monday is now Move your Money Monday. It takes time to research a bank move so some are just getting started. I've started the process to a non profit credit union and should be able to close my account in about 3 weeks. http://www.cuna.org/public/press/press-release/issues/hundreds-thousands-of-consumers-billions-of-$$-move-credit-unions http://www.cutimes.com/2011/11/07/bank-transfer-day-trades-report-page-views-boost That's incredible power. This is an action people can take who want to be involved with OWS but for obligations can't commit the time.
thanks for posting I didn't know it was working so well. Glad your changing over.. I did it last year . Which was hard because my bank knows me by name.. they stand up and come over and greet me. I done a lot of business with them over the year. But the reason I did it was I wrote a check to my daughter and she I told her to go to my bank to cash it so she didn't get nick with fee for cashing it at another bank...they charged her 5.00 for a 20 check drawn off my own bank. I was furious. I also noticed they had a sign directing people to cash check too these payday type places.. I though WTF is this? I did not know these big banks also own these check cashing places, so that why they don't cash checks for people. Today banks are like Guido's . It used to be illegal for this kind of loan shark stuff but today they pushed through so many laws that many can't get normal accounts anymore and are forced to do business with these payday places.. Young kids think it normal way to do business to get paid and pay a % to have it cashed. Sometimes all this injustice is overwhelming.

And look how as a nation we all lost. It was a disgusting time. I think a lot of the laws pushed through were blackmail stuff. Too much of this has gone on. As we elect these side shows, are country is in some serious decline. We need some serious respectability and Herman Cain doesn't even seem Presidential at all. Regardless of his troubles. He reminds me of a blackman who tap dancing for a white Rep Party. "Come on Herman tap dance for us and show you got rhythm" He's someone they know they can easily manipulate and that what their looking for. This organization National Restaurant Assc. is the reason minimum wage is so low.. They lobby hard to keep it low. He a lobbyist who needs to be handed a ethics pamphlet reminding him the rules of conduct with woman on the job. Instead of him handing them out to press tell them how to behave.

LOLOLOL - doing well? The occupiers have made zero difference, other than to give sanitation departments a reason to stay busy...Tonight on the local Boston Fox News, they reported that they've taken to using homeless shelters for showering purposes...You have a scant few who almost sound like they have half a brain in their head when interviewed and suddenly you think they have a successful movement...LOL Makes me glad I have a job...otherwise I could partake in activities on town/city commons and call it the 'I want to veg out movement'

Can you give me a ballpark estimate of how many interviews you've watched with these protesters? Because claiming that only a "scant few" are intelligent necessitates that you've seen at least hundreds that aren't. I'm guessing that the local Fox affiliate isn't that thorough, so how else are you conducting your OWS research? Clearly they've made at least some difference; after all, without these protesters, we wouldn't get the privilege of reading your witty, intelligent 'they're dirty and they poop everywhere!' jokes.

What makes you think I'm joking and having fun with it? - I'm actually disgusted with that nonsense. This is in the news everyday and you can readily see one 'smart' one making statements while other ding-a-lings hang in back of him while the news cameras are running and make all sorts of juvenile gestures - almost like you'd see at a football tailgating party...
-
Well, many of them are young, rich. I want them to have fun while they can (not that they should party all the time) and be young and happy and carefree and feel like they can be and do anything--maybe that's not as easy in today's world, I hope they at least have fleeting moments like that, and I know they do, because they're young and it's great to see them motivated to bring about progress-- it was inspiring when they raised hell over Bush's plans to invade Iraq and bomb and kill and then the nightmare of that happening anyway...good to see they're not completely cynical about the possibility of progress and beneficial changes, after THAT.

That's not exclusive to the OWS protesters, just watch ANY interview that takes place among groups of people and you'll always see people acting stupid in the background in attempts to grab the camera's attention. If you disagree with the message, just say so, but don't feign outrage about ancillary factors, such as their organization, work ethic or hygiene.
