I posted a few new photos on the new site. Two from the Manchester UK show in December, I posted today. Actually, looking at my photos from the show. I stopped at this photo. Reminded me of the new Standards album. Not sure why. Podgie (I think it was the flowers on the stage) Monkey

I'm still pretty excited about the Mayan Ruins rumour. That would be wicked cool! I wanna go. Only 2000 people if they do have the concert. I was talking to a friend who has been there. He said it was neat, gotta go thru jungle to get to it, very hot. Said he heard it was crazy at equinox time, as there is some snake shadow thing and lots of people go. I was disappointed that he told me you can't walk up the stairs of the pyramid. Don't want ya ruining the ruins, I guess. Man, I wanted a picture of myself up top with arms outstretched at the sun. Actually, when I think think about I'm not in shape for climbing that many stairs. Woulda been a cool photo of Paul up there. If I was in charge I would modernize it, put in escalators. Afraid of ruining it? It would improve it. Capitolize! Man, maybe a sacrifice ride or something. A Mayan Disney-type place. The Mayan's only figured it would be there till 2012 anyway! Probably why I'm never in charge of anything. Oh yeah, it would be the perfect place to add a new song to the set list! A 2013 Paul McCartney Calandar would be a big seller collectors item at the show also. At least, I reckon. Maybe should drop the current George Harrison "Something" tribute, and add "I, Me, Mayan" instead. Podgie (picturing the tropics) Monkey
jajajaja, "I, Me, Mayan"

Wow! What an amazing find on Easter Island! They dug down and found that the giant heads on the islands have bodies! I'm not kidding. I saw it on the internet, so it must be true. Plus there was a picture. Even more amazing...they had musical instruments. Check it out... You could just imagine, once they put on the headgear, and the ceremonial garb, and put on the paint that wore off over the years, what it must have looked like! Very cool! At least that's what I figure it musta looked like. I bet there were three more (at least) with instruments also, just waiting to be dug up! Since the Mayan Ruins concert thing seems to be not happening, maybe Paul can move the concert to Easter Island. Looks like a very cool place! Podgie (the archeologist) Monkey

Podgie, you seriously don't post enough--you absolutely crack me up when you do, though!
-
Uh oh...where those heads built in the future then? I hate time paradoxes. Gives me a headache.

Easter Island isn't the only cool place on Earth. Why, I am sure that if they put a nose back on the Sphinx with some plaster and painted it, I'm betting it would look like this... Yup, I'd make a great Archeologist. I bet if they found a bunch of dinasaur bones, and brought me in to put them together, I would soon have a Maccasauraus...with a few bones left over! Podgie (like Indiana Jones...naw, make that Massachusetts) Monkey

Wow! "The Scream" just sold for something like $330 Million Dollars at auction! Is that unbelievable? I don't even consider it that good a painting. Egad! Wonder how much this one would go for?... I call it..."Oh No! Here come the Screaming Fans!" I think it is a classic too. It is one of four versions also. Podgie (Thank you very Munch) Monkey

An unbelievable price. Plus it wasn't even unique, it was one of four which sold, and wasn't one of the oil paintings, it was pastel on cardboard! Just need to sell one of mine, and I will be set for life. Podgie (Crayola on Manila Paper) Monkey

Podgie I think yours could sell for $121 million because yours has a much more handsome face on it
