Not sure if anyone has posted the remaster of Uncle Albert here but I've been seeing it all over the internet...here...give it a listen... http://www.avclub.com/articles/hear-the-remastered-uncle-albertadmiral-halsey-fro,72997/
UA/AH was a real slow burner for me but I love it now! Sounding good and that's no doubt a pretty low quality stream.
but it sounds pretty good huh?

Wonder if the Mono lp will be the same price as the stereo.

Okay, first complaint and I haven't even laid finers or eyes on my delux edition yet. the digital version has two extra songs that aren't on any other versions. I hate digital only crap. You get to keep it only as long as you have your computer and computers are finite. way more finite then an outside source of information.
Not strictly true. You can just as easily lose/damage CDs. I've got CDs that have "rotted" and are unplayable and files I copied onto my pc that work fine. The safest thing to do is to back up your CDs to comupter and keep a back up of your computer. External hard drives are relatively cheap and very easy to set up (just connect em and plug em in).

Uncut's review of RAM is out and is given 8 out of 10 by Beatles and Paul fan David Quantick, he calls it occasionally brilliant and historically fascinating. I don't agree with some of his summations that Smile Away and especially Monkberry Moon Delight are ordinary and Back Seat Of My Car chases it's tail, but it's a balanced appraisal of the album. Also a great article on RAM is inside the latest Uncut issue too.

Looking forward to reading this! Thanks for the mini update about it. 8/10 is the equivalent of 4 stars. I think it deserves 5 stars but reviewers never seem willing to give Paul 5 stars for anything unconnected to the Beatles. : How can anyone think Monkberry Moon Delight and Back Seat of My Care are anything but extraordinary?

Always thought highly of UA/AH. remember it was used in an episode of Only Fools and Horses. Much as I'd like to see it live, there are so many key/tempo changes that could be hard to recreate on stage.

Well, if these guys can do it,
I'm sure Paul can figure out a way to do it too. -
This site has some very odd & funny comments about Monkberry... They are from quite awhile ago but still funny! http://www.songmeanings.net/songs/view/48899/

Monkberry is far from ordinary, it's EPIC! Ram is as good as anything under The Beatles name. 5 stars is a minimum. I'm getting more frustrated at the price of the deluxe edition and the fact it's not on pm.com yet!!

I think it's very strange. I'm getting the George movie this week and then RAM...so excited...

Imagine if Paul had added the songs "Another Day" & 'A Love for You" to the original album. Both songs fit the crazed genius of the other songs. He would also have 3 very strong singles to promote the album - all Top 10. The perception of the album would be much different today & the album would would have had a much more positive reception, thus causing Paul to continue to write in the same style. Its a pity.

Sill nothing. Its just a joke! Premium Members should get a discount aswell on the deluxe edition.
