On Twitter, Paul has this link to pre-order RAM at pm.com: http://store.paulmccartney.com/ram/usd.php So when I click on it, there are no prices or anything listed! WTF is up with this? Is it just a glitch on the site? (This is for U.S. $ orders only)
Same here & same WTF? tired of so many glitches with everything
I can see all of the prices. I'm on Safari and Firefox and its working fine on both. Maybe it's acting up because of heavy Web traffic?? Lots of people checking out the options??

This is crazy already...I am on IE 7 the latest IE. That site should be working with anything that you use or they should state what to use.

AGREED! Lord, I guess I will try it on Google Chrome just to see what happens. :

Just got this in email from
-
It worked with Google Chrome. There is no way I will be ordering through pm.com though. Amazon has it for $90.99 (compared to $103.99 on pm.com) I know you get the 2 digital bonus tracks with that, but I understand you can get them through iTunes, right? Think I will skip the t-shirt and lithograph which would be a whopping $69 more than Amazon! I haven't pre-ordered yet. I hope the price comes down a bit more.

"HMV must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted, and the contract formed. Payment is not taken until the point of despatch of the goods to you from our premises in Guernsey. When payment is to be made with E-Vouchers, the E-voucher will be removed from your wallet on placing your order but will not be accepted as payment until the goods are despatched to you. If the order is cancelled or not fulfilled the E-Voucher will be re-credited to your wallet. Once payment has been received HMV will confirm that your order has been received by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your registration form. The shipment email will include your name, the order number and the total price. HMV s acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us on these terms. Any term sought to be imposed by you in your order will not form part of the contract." "HMV are entitled to withdraw from any contract in the case of obvious errors or inaccuracies regarding the goods appearing on our web site. If an error or inaccuracy is discovered with regards to the advertised price of the goods that you have ordered before the contract is made (see (b) above) we will contact you as soon as possible by email." Sorry to rain on a parade.
Yea I've already noticed that, I knew they wouldn't HAVE to honour it but I'm hoping that they might possibly. I know it's a slim chance but I can hope...right?
As long as they give you the option of cancelling and not hold you to the new price of £80ish or whatever it will be, then there's no harm in trying is there

I love Paul:

The option to cancels lies with them, and I'm fairly sure they'll take that option! Worth a try though!

I've ordered from HMV for £12!
I have been able to create an account, put the item in the basket and got as far as the "checkout" area. However, when I clik on the "continue" button, nothing happens. Has anyone else had this problem?

It went through with no problems for me.

If I'm understanding the email I got from PM.com, it seems the free digital membership does not give the person the box of goodies the rest of us got who paid upfront, just access to the premium content we all have. Okay...sort of feel better now...what about the rest of you? and I'm getting excited (but haven't received my George stuff and I hate when Paul and George fight for my attention)

I don't think that's fair to those of us who paid for the membership, even if we got the box of goodies.

hant this man gathered enough of your money in his lifetime? for a hundred quid he should be personally signing every single super delux edition...its not as if he will sell more than a 10 k worldwide. added to his huge concert tickets rip off prices, lets just say im not playing the mccartney money game anymore...its a joke . in my lifetime ive bought everything only to see him turn his back on his solo fans big style with his karoke beatles money machine tour...even the premium membership on this site is looking like another poor investment. all paul mccartney wants is your money,he dosent give a hoot about his so called fans..any fans will do as long as they pay the dosh. very sad indeed! rant over
-
You can rain on your parade, Lazy, but you aren't raining on mine. It's my choice to spend my money however I want. Paul isn't holding a gun to my head or to yours. And if you don't want to buy the Ram reissue or go to his concerts anymore, then don't. I think the Ram box set looks fantastic. Does it have everything I'd want? No, but nothing in life ever does. If I didn't want it, I wouldn't buy it.

I was going to order the Deluxe Version. Went all the way thru the login and inputting of information, up to the putting in of credit card information, and the site is not secure. HTTP, not HTTPS! Again, not encrypted, and your credit card information is in danger of being hijacked anywhere between your computer and their server. Looks like I won't be ordering on-line. Podgie (better safe than sorry) Monkey

Hey...thanks for that info. *big long sigh* : Unbelievable how much is wrong with that site. KO...even though they are only getting the digital membership...we should be offered something comparable...maybe the RAM Tshirt...or as Lazy said...maybe a signed copy of Ram. and now just thinking about it...wasn't it Target that had the best deal with KOTB? They had the extra songs. I think I will wait till release date.

I would love to be able to order the deluxe edition from HMV for £12, but unfortunately I can't. They will not ship anything to Brazil. That's why I can't get past the "checkout" screen. I guess I'll have to pay $90 to Amazon....

I wouldn't get to upset about the £12.oo from HMV, they wont let people pay as little as that, they have 2 weeks to change it and they will.

Don't worry, I doubt they'll let us have it at £12!!
