The Who: Fall North American Quadrophenia Tour

JordanOnTheRun:
The Rolling Stones are definitely LEGENDS, they will be remembered as one of the 'greats' alongside Paul. I'm sure even now The Stones are more popular than Paul, especially with their 50th. Edit: whoops this thread is about the who, I would love to see them.

Tickets go on sale to the public today!

Yep! 10 minutes! I'm still not sure what I'm doing though to see this tour. Looking at the dates more closely, I've noticed that they will be in Atlantic City just two days after my 18th birthday...hmmm.

Which means that you'll be old enough to sell beer at the gig, but not old enough to purchase it. Oh, America, you confusing lil' country, you.

It would be the first time I've bee ntehre to see a show that ISN'T in a casino...they're in the big Boardwalk Hall where Paul played about 10 years ago.

Planning to see them twice on this tour, but wondering about the VIP tickets. They're 1/3 the price of Paul's ( : ) and include soundcheck, but no meet-and-greet which I was hoping for. Hmm...choices, choices! Oh, and they very by around $50 between the two venues I'm hoping to see them at. How does THAT work?

The Beach Boys VIP package for the Hollywood Bowl was double the price for mine here in Maryland! I don't think those packages are worth it for The Who...they are also almost double what I payed for my Beach Boys experience, and they aren't hosting a meet-n-greet like you said.

I know. I'd like to hear what they do during soundcheck to see if it's worth it. If they are like Paul and put on over an hour of songs they won't play live, I might do it once. If not, screw it.

I think The Beach Boys VIP package has really made me re-consider ever doing a soundcheck pacakge thru Paul unfortunately. It just seems flat out lucrative to me now. I know it would be a blast but...you don't even meet him for pete's sake!

Can I just tell you how much my mother wanted a VIP package to The Beach Boys, but they were all sold out, sadly. I would have loved to meet the guys! Paul's package really isn't worth doing more than once, unless you have money to spend, or it's his last ever concert, or whatever. Of course, that's how I met him, so I don't begrudge the huge bill of the VIP package.

Great finish at the Olympics closing cermony.
-
Here in the states we had to wait until past midnight, after a new show premiere and local news. Well worth the wait!
-
The tour starts today...First concert Miami!
-
Yeah, I was rocking out to Won't Get Fooled Again earlier, goosebumps.... Anyway, anyone fortunate enough to see a show, enjoy it. I'm strawberry jelly over here!
-
So inadvertantly thankful I didn't get tickets to see them this fall....I'll JUST be coming back from St. Louis with THE MAN!
-
Thought I'd mention that a $1 from every ticket goes to Teen Cancer America

This show was absolutely wonderful. The best Who performance I've bare witnessed. This comes in a very close second to The Who show that I saw in 200o with the mighty Ox! If you haven't bought tickets I'd suggest you do!
-
Can't wait!!! 17th row!! YAY!! Who who, who who
-
My turn tonight. The Who are in San Diego!
