The compilation album I came up with had one minor problem....well, actually major problem.....how do you whittle down the album/unknown/b-side tracks to produce one double album? This was compilation volume one. He would sell more (with the right promotion) of this doubler than all of his remasters put together....and if this did sell it would increase sales of his remasters. And this has 35 tracks on it..... ....not surprisingly, I have two more compilations totalling over 100 tracks! And they say he's written nothing since 1970.... : Helen Wheels Fine Line Highway Dear Friend Call Me Back Again Mrs Vandebilt That Would Be Something Ram On This One Baby?s Request Secret Friend My Soul Fluid Hope Of Deliverance Monkberry Moon Delight Run Devil Run Oh Woman Oh Why That Day Is Done Love In The Open Air Warm And Beautiful Tomorrow Dance ?til We?re High I Want To Come Home She?s Given Up Talking Wild Life (Live) Man We Was Lonely Too Much Rain Beware My Love (Live WOA) Getting Closer Press Dress Me Up Like Robber Biker Like An Icon Lonely Road The Mess Smile Away

You've hit a lot of my favorites here, so I'll buy it! We can call it: "You think Paul hasn't done anything since 1970? Well listen to THIS!" Volume I.
-
I agree with Kedame that it gets "tiresome," to say the least, to read "criticism after criticism." To continually lament and harp on the fact that Paul is not exactly as he used to be in his glory days. That's ludicrous, and worse. He's only human, in fact I saw in the latest "US" mag a recent pic of him pushing his own luggage in the New York airport.
-
Those who are desperate enough can ask for volume two and three.....

: come on susy, put a different record on.....if you are that sick of it why continue to 'comeback'with the same old tired tales?......we get it susy, you think paul is a wonderful example of humanity in every way, anyone who who dares to suggest otherwise is just evil and vindictive, especially on the poor mans own website blah blah blah. it might actually surprise you just how much these people [including me] really adore paul mccartney full stop......offering advice and career calls does not mean that we are any less fans than you..and infact judging by your own limited knowledge on many things and certainly your limited experiances in seeing him live and buying all his albums perhaps many of us are infact 'bigger fans ' than you?....perhaps.?

Hey, if you've got it, flaunt it. You've got some of my favorites on this volume of the "Paul McCartney is a Better Musician and Writer Than Any of You Nitwits Give Him Credit For" collection. "Goodbye" is such a gorgeous song, much better with Paul on vocals than Mary Hopkins, and with just the acoustic guitar, not all the other added bells and whistles.

After looking at that list....how can anyone dare to say he's done nowt since The Beatles!!! ...if only that list was passed on to Radio/TV/Film producers.

I thought volume II was my favorite, but now I can't decide. Right, now if this three volume set gets released, Paul would rightfully take his place atop the pile. Of course, we'll need to get MPL on board so they can crank up the Merchandising Machine.
-
By MPL merchandising machine you mean old Ernie the boilerman who works down in the cellar, and his snotty little grandson Norman.... : Would you trust MPL to promote something WB? Sure fire disaster if they do it!

True. I'm sometimes (often?) surprised at the lack of rhyme or reason to some of their choices in promoting Paul's work. I guess we'll have to create a boardies business and take on the task ourselves.

Thing is our best ideas are pinched by MPL media studies types who, a bit like cheap hacks who surf internet sites for stories coz they're too bloody lazy to leave their desks, then go to Paul or someone high up and pretend they came up with them. And any good ideas from us on here about the great ones career, taking over or getting jobs at MPL are quickly shredded before Paul claps eyes on them....wouldn't want him to suddenly have a well oiled, thrusting machine housed in his offices in Soho Square.... : ....sorry about using the word thrusting ,I know some on here find it offensive and others just plain pass out.....

You'd better copyright your three volume set before your posts "mysteriously disappear" and wind up being the list for Paul's brand new remaster.
-
I have records of all my posts and transactions.....you don't think I trust computers do you? ....if anyone pinches my awe-inspiringly brilliant ideas, they get sued and the boys (who admittedly not what they used to be in their prime) pay 'em a visit! ...a alternatively they could bung me a few quid and keep me sweet!
-
....actually, come to think of it, the line should read....you don't think I trust the numpty working the computer do you?!

Look, I understand it can get tiring for you to keep reading the same things Susy says a lot, but it gets tiring for her, too. You don't have to resort to personal attacks by pointing out the fact that she hasn't been to see Paul. I haven't either, but I still know a great deal. You don't know Susy's financial situation or where she lives. I think it is insensitive of you to say some of the things you did. If you don't like some of the things Paul does, that's fine...but please don't hold it against those that enjoy most or all of his work, especially by calling them out on not having access to stuff you do have access to.

I don't see any personal attacks from Lazy at all. He is simply trying to let Susy see it from the other side. As nice as it is to stick up for somebody, Im sure Susy can handle herself knowing her track record for personal attacks.
