If Ringo toured solo what setlist would you like to see?
-
Personally, when it comes to Walk With You, I'm thinking about dropping Weight of the World from the list, and replacing it with Walk With You
-
Aw please don't take "Weight Of The World" out one of his best songs/recordings ever! Good work though DrummerfromFife . I'm especially pleased that you've included Mark Hart in his touring band. He's a sensational musician (A very fine guitar player too). I'm also a major Crowded House fan, and love his work with them...

-
3rd last ?
-
I'm thinking of placing Walk With You as the first encore song, inbetween Yellow Submarine and No No Song, or inbetween In Liverpool and Peace Dream

JoeySmith:
Any Ringo setlist should have "Walk with You"! 1 of his best songs ever.

I was just listening to Time, from Y Not, and I was thinking "That could be the last drum song of the show, after I Think Therefore I Rock And Roll. The instrumental section could be a showcase for the entire band." Who thinks Time should be a part of the show?
-
Where's Snookeroo and Matchbox?
-
Honestly, I did think of Matchbox, but I didn't know where to put it. The only place I could think of putting it was as the first song of the show, but it's my belief that the first song should be It Don't Come Easy. As for Snookeroo, I didn't put that song in, mainly because to me it didn't sound like the kinda song Ringo would do live
-
Version 2 of the setlist has been uploaded onto YouTube. All the new changes, except Time. Wasn't 100% sure on that song:
Setlist: With A Little Help From My Friends intro It Don't Come Easy Act Naturally Honey Don't What Goes On Octopus's Garden Wings Choose Love I Wanna Be Your Man Drumming Is My Madness Fill In The Blanks Love Me Do Brandy Don't Pass Me By I'm the Greatest Don't Go Where the Road Don't Go Liverpool 8 Give Me Back The Beat The Other Side of Liverpool What in the World Everybody's In A Hurry But Me Anthem Photograph Walk With You Memphis In Your Mind Never Without You Weight of the World Back Off Boogaloo Boys I Was Walkin' I Think Therefore I Rock n Roll Fading In and Fading Out In Liverpool Peace Dream Yellow Submarine ENCORE: No No Song You're Sixteen Oh My My With A Little Help From My Friends into Give Peace A Chance -
I have to admit, and this is the Ringo lover inside me that's saying this, I feel pretty satisfied with my setlist and the band ideas. Here's hoping that if Ringo ever tours solo again, he uses something similar to my ideas. Hey, I'll be satisfied as long as he does Wings, Oh My My with a saxophone solo, and a longer version of Back Off Boogaloo than the 2010 version, as those are my top 3 Ringo songs
-
I don't know what I've chimed in here before, but Ringo should definitely be playing any and all material given to him by John and Paul. What's he nuts! Pure Gold baby. Ringo's out of his mind. and his shows should open and close with Goodnight Vienna. or by playing You're Sixteen twice I'd take that. great song. done so well. Don't take for granted what Nilsson's backing 'ooooo's do for that song. who'd gonna be doing that onstage I wanna know! maybe get one of the dudes from Mumford & Sons or just all the Mumford & Sons. dont they do those deeper harmonies? I'd say open and close the shows with You're Sixteen, only if Mumford & Sons are part of the backing vocals otherwise go Goodnight Vienna.
-
I can't see Ringo opening with You're Sixteen. Goodnight Vienna? Possibly. OK, if you had to design a setlist strictly for songs Ringo did with John, Paul, and George, what would you do?
-
I might just be me, but I feel a bit......eh....what's the right word......when an old man sings "You're sixteen, you're beautiful and you're mine".......

Is "Disturbed" the word?

OK, new questions for Ringo fans. 1. What would you say are the top 5 songs that could be used for a show opener? For me: 1. It Don't Come Easy 2. Photograph 3. I'm the Greatest 4. Fading In and Fading Out 5. With A Little Help From My Friends And 2. If you had to pick 5 songs for him to do in every single tour, what 5 songs would they be? For me: 1. It Don't Come Easy 2. Yellow Submarine 3. Photograph 4. Back Off Boogaloo 5. With A Little Help From My Friends
-
Five potential openers... -It Don't Come Easy -I'm The Greatest -Goodnight Vienna -Hey! Baby -Wrack My Brain Four must have songs... -With a Little Help From My Friends -Yellow Submarine -Photograph -It Don't Come Easy

OK fans. New challenge. Ringo tour. Has to have at least 15 songs. Any songs you wish. No repeating a song. The setlist has to have It Don't Come Easy, Photograph, Boys, Yellow Submarine, Act Naturally, and With A Little Help From My Friends, and you have to have a band to go with it. At least 1 guitarist, up to 2, a keyboard player, bass player, an extra drummer, and an optional saxophone player. My list will not change: BAND: Ringo Starr - lead vocals, drums, keyboards Steve Lukather - backing vocals, lead guitar Gary Burr - backing vocals, rhythm guitar Mark Hart - backing vocals, keyboards Richard Page - backing vocals, bass guitar, additional vocals on "Walk With You" Mark Rivera - backing vocals, saxophone, keyboards, percussion, etc Gregg Bissonette - backing vocals, drums, percussion SETLIST: With A Little Help From My Friends intro It Don't Come Easy Act Naturally Honey Don't What Goes On Octopus's Garden Wings Choose Love I Wanna Be Your Man Drumming Is My Madness Fill In The Blanks Love Me Do Brandy Don't Pass Me By I'm the Greatest Don't Go Where the Road Don't Go Liverpool 8 Give Me Back The Beat The Other Side of Liverpool What in the World Everybody's In A Hurry But Me Anthem Photograph Walk With You Memphis In Your Mind Never Without You Weight of the World Back Off Boogaloo Boys I Was Walkin' I Think Therefore I Rock n Roll Fading In and Fading Out In Liverpool Peace Dream Yellow Submarine ENCORE: No No Song You're Sixteen Oh My My With A Little Help From My Friends into Give Peace A Chance

I wonder if Ringo would ever pull out "If You've Got Trouble"? I mean if Paul did "Come and Get It", how about Ringo's Anthology track?

I hope not! ops: IMO "If you've got troubles" is in the top 5 of the Beatles worst songs ever. Ringo's plea before the solo: "Rock on...._any_body" is a dead give away. and that last part makes med think of a much better song for Ringo to put in his show: Wood & Starkey's "Dead Giveaway"
