Okay- I've got lots of news! The priority of course, is the condition of my Uncle. His health has not declined but he does not seem to mentally be coming out of the medication he is on so of course, this is concerning. He doesn't remember where he is or what year it is and he does not want my grandmother to leave him so of course, she will stay with him. However, she blew me away today...she still wants me to go to the show at St. Louis. I'd like to publicly thank her within this board, for her extreme selflessness. I truly admire her strength and support of the whole family. Southwest Airlines has made a special emergency arrangement for my father to take her place on the flights so, he will be joining us at the rockshow this Sunday. It will be his first Paul concert! I still ask that my family be in your thoughts and prayers as we restore my Uncle to his good old self and I thank you VERY truly, for the support that has been shown. I'm SO excited to be with you all Sunday!!!

Dumped my Floor B 31 tickets today on Ebay and somehow snagged some Floor A ROW 5 !!! tickets on Stubhub for not too much more than Face Value. I am beyond thrilled as I'm taking my 15 year old and want this to be an awesome experience for her. 5th row! Like seeing Jesus for me. Can you really hear the soundcheck from outside the venue - and when and where we would go to do that?

I am glad to hear that your uncle is, at least, stable. Also, I have to share this: When you mentioned that your father would be attending with you, I was immediately reminded of a simple but memorable father/son moment in this video, which happens to be my favorite performance of "Helter Skelter." It's a very quick audience-shot of what appears to be a son taking a quick glance at his dad enjoying Paul McCartney's performance. It's quick but it sticks in my memory: (it's a 02:57):
OK -- call me a softy. I'm sure there will be more than a few great moments like that for ya', WixRocks!. Incidentally: Paul sings his ass off in the last verse. enjoy. -

If it doesn't rain, I might even get him out for the limo watch!

Where in Floor A, Row 5? I don't know how the Scottrade Center is set up as I've never been there, but the only indoor venue I've ever heard a bit of the soundcheck was Tulsa because we were allowed to wait indoors in the air conditioning instead of the 100 degree heat. We did have to leave the building while another security sweep was done before ticket holders were allowed in. I thought sound check tickets included Floor A, Row 5, as that is where our seats are located.

Perhaps! Are we making name tags or something? is there still a meet up at Hard Rock after the show?
-
I thought it was Maggie's as the Hard Rock closes not too long after the concert will be over.

I didn't know this either! Guess I better get in the loop here quick! I don't even know if I can go to Maggie's, being 17.

Laws vary, but -- usually -- if an establishment serves food, you should be good.

Yeah, that's how I get away with playing in the bars around here If dad's up for it, we'll be there!

Is this Maggie's place near the venue?

The Hard Rock is listed as closing at midnight. However, I'm not sure if they are going to be open later for the concert--sometimes establishments will, especially as they seem to be the only place near the venue! If not, Maggie's is open until 3 a.m., so we can close the place down.

Maggie' is a short walk from the venue, its on the other side of Union Station and I believe almost across the street from the Hard Rock

So now I'm beginning to feel I may have been ripped off. Tickets came by PDF from Stub Hub, Sect. A, Row 5, sets 3 & 4. also says ZHOT2 which leads me to believe they are part of the sound check package as someone else pointed out. I've already contacted Stub Hub to verify with seller but of course they're closed now. Is it possible someone could be using the sound check but selling the seats to the concert? I do not want to drive all that way to be denied entry and Ive sold my other tickets. Already chatted with Stub Hub earlier via Live Chat and they assured me this seller was reputable. Of course they have a 'guarantee' but I would be screwed out of the concert. HELP!
