Always great fun, looking forward to it!
Thanks Triples! I won't let you down. I had been thinking about this for several weeks, and had quite a story put down. I worked thru the night last night. About 90% done. A little more work, and finishing some ideas, and I should be ready to post within a few days. I think you, and the whole Forum, will like it! Just guess I needed a little reassuring. I just need to know it is liked and appreciated every year. To know it is worth doing. Podgie (creative mind is racing) Monkey

Okay, fellow Forumians...We need a little Christmas...right this very minute... Yup, it's that most Wonderful time of the year!... Let's see, what to do this year? I got an idea, One that Tori From Texas did a bit of years ago. I was hoping she would come back and finish it, but she disappeared. I dedicate this to her (I really miss her). I suppose my version is up-to-date and topical, especially this year... The story starts out in the small town of St Louis Falls. I know, bad pun there. It could just as easily been Tampa Falls. A true fan would get this. Here is the main street of the growing town. My version has a crosswalk and studio on it. Yeah, we start with the old gang. Why? Paul didn't save his brother when he fell thru the ice! At least not in my story. I just thought I would put this in because it is neat to see what the old gang would have looked like. Hey, this is my story. Okay, my story really starts with our hero stealing the girl away from Alfalfa. Yup, a grown Alfalfa from the Little Rascals! No kidding! No Spanky, No Buckwheat, none of the other Little Rascals...it is Alfalfa! It is funny, but Alfalfa, as you can see from my last photo was not part of Our Gang in my movie. Yeah, this was at the small town Ballroom Dance. Paul just walked in and stole the girl. Way to go! Anyway, Alfalfa was upset and being the rascal he was...opens the floor of the high school gymnasium, and our two heros fell into the swimming pool. How many High Schools especially in a small town have a floor that opens into a swimming pool? I don't think many typical small towns. Seems kind of out of place in the movie, but according to the "Making of" segment of the disk, Hollywood High School where this was filmed has one (No, not your typical High School). I should add that at this point in my version of the movie. I would have an Ester Williams grand syncronised swimming sequence. I would also, in the spirit of MMT, have just the pool in Color (Colour for you UK readers, who shouldn't think a floor opening pool is typical in America). Just imagine a neat Macca soundtrack for the swimming sequence! (I sense Oscar...not with the original...with my version). Yes, they fall in love and get married. Nancy remembers Paul's words to her when they were dating, and puts a needlepoint on their Living Room wall. Very cool! Good Marketing for my movie version. Soon to be on sale at the On-Line store. You may want to wait for the Deluxe Complete version which includes alternate needlepoint lyrics. Okay, we need a bad man in the movie. Here he is. He wants to take over the web. He wants all our personal information, and control all our social media. He wants to automatically sent all our LIKES to all our friends, to also LIKE. No, I don't LIKE him. Boo and Hiss here...like a Panto...right? (I suppose only UK folks will appreciate or get the Panto reference). Paul has to take over and has full control. Yes, he cares about us fans (at least in my story). Podgie (Wonderful Parody) Monkey

Yes, things are good in our cyberworld of St Louis Falls. A neat little cybertown. Very quaint, very nostalgic. Man, I want to live there! The people are friendly. Why there is Bert the cop, and Ernie the Taxi driver. No kidding! Yup, friendly Bert and Ernie. How cool is that! There is also the friendly cyberplaces in town. The small cyberplaces all thru the community. A great place! Places like Macca's Pub in the Talk More Talk section of town. Man, we all want to live there. Actually, some of us actually do. Things are so perfect and great in this cyberworld. Then one day...Egad! Paul leaves other people in charge of important business. What happens next should be somewhat predictable... Paul is very distraught at this development! My most loyal fans gone! How could this happen? He goes home and takes it out on the kids. He tells his child to stop playing that infernal Christmas tune on the keyboards. Yes, he upsets the whole place, and on Christmas eve! The wife even tells him to leave the home(page)...at least in my version. He was going to jump in the river and end it all. Very upsetting. He makes a crazy wish... But Clarence the Angel shows up to save him! How cool is that? I don't know why in my mind at this point I hear Yoko singing "I'm Your Angel". I definitely can't imagine Clarence singing it. Not sure it would really work in my movie. Maybe best left on the editting floor. Why...the small community of St Louis Falls has changed! Where is Macca's Pub? There is no Oobu24 or Walliebaby tending bar! There are none of the pub regulars! Instead, there is this other bartender there. I don't know if Paul even recognizes him! Clarence tells him, "Yup, it never existed, because no website meant no Macca Pub Thread!" Podgie (some story, eh?!) Monkey

The whole place has changed! Where are Bert and Ernie?!!! Gone! Instead it is Honey Boo Boo's Mama, and the Two Headed Girl. Yes Paul. Because your website didn't exist, People didn't see your political opinion. They voted Romney in. No Sesame Street, Paul. PBS has been taken over by Corporate Network Television. Like the Lifetime Channel, that was started by Nasa as a learning channel. Look what happened there...now it is Toddlers and Tiaras, Honey Boo Boo, the Two Headed Girl. Yes, disturbing Reality television. No more public education. At this point, Paul can take it no longer. He goes back to the river to jump in again. What a Terrible world we would be left with. He wishes that he has his website back! Sure enough it happens! A Christmas Miracle! Hello CyberCommunity!...Merry Christmas!!!! "Hello 'Count to a gazillion' Thread!" "Hello Wonderful 'Macca's Pub' Thread!" "Hello 'Song of the Day' Thread!" "Hello you crazy old 'Futher PerAdventures' Thread!" Merry Christmas!!! Why even Paul's brother, who he didn't really save from drowning and winning the Congressional Medal of Honor shows up! Survivor of the Cold War. Let's drink a drink a Christmas drink...to Lily the Pink! Merry Christmas Everyone! Oh yeah, and "Every time you hear "Wonderful Christmastime" being played...Someone gets Their Wings!" Oh yeah, Clarence left a note for our Paul also... ...and it was the bestest Christmas ever! The End. Podgie (another Christmas Classic!) Monkey

*can't breath* can't breath* Laughing so hard* can't breath* Oh, and I got the Tampa Falls reference. (I must be a true fan then. I've been accused of not being one). and I notice in the 'new' pub, there still is a bottle of Veggieeater. (I got to get that shirt). Oh, I loved the part where Paul ran down the street greeting all the threads again. Podgie, you are brilliant.
