I understand. Paul should go to the places he hasn't in years. There are whole continents dying to see him and haven't in decades. This is why he should really go to these places and make up to Denmark before he considers going to the same places again. There are people on here like you who haven't seen Paul in too long, and others who have seen Paul 12 times within 2 years! There's too much of the world and not enough of Paul to go around.
I think what people do not understand is that Paul does not pick the places he plays, the promoters and the markets decide that. He cancelled some Australian dates in '03 or '04 and he never went back. If the market is soft or soft for him he may not play there even if he wants to. Touring is complicated. Deals have to be made for every city and venue. Horsens may not want him or be able to afford him. It's simple economics and his concerts are a huge and complex deal. It's not just him and a guitar showing up. It's him and 200 other people in a gigantic expense of planes and trucks and cars and hotels, etc, and it takes months to put these tours together. McCartney on Tour is a business, not just a person. Perspective.
Oh yeah. That's why whoever it is decides to charge outrageous amounts for tickets in North and South America. $2,000 for the soundcheck package? That's criminal! It makes you wonder... sure, Paul & co likes going to the usual places because of the reception, but it's also because of how much money is going to be made. But really, that's a shame. A multi-millionaire such as Paul shouldn't need to have to think about making money any more. Putting money before fans is really sad. If these money-obsessed businessmen/women weren't in charge of making the decisions and the fans were, then Paul would be touring a lot more different places than he does now.

Time for a new, meandering college tour.

I don't think we're going to hear anything from Paul until early March....probably announce these South American dates for May.
Wrong.
Excuse me? Oh, where are my manners...I forgot you were ACTUALLY Paul McCartney... :
Haha, no need for such crankiness with an announcement in sight.

Does the word "sassy" mean when he's naked?

But there isn't an announcement in sight. Did I miss the announcement for the announcement? :

Especially like the shows in Horsens! The tickets were already SOLD. People had plane train & hotel reservations. THAT is terrible. I don't care who puts the tours together...they should make up for that. Or yeah...go ahead & just send Paul with his guitar! Now that would be classic!

Not defending high prices but surely all tours HAVE to at least break even and maybe turn a profit because Paul or whoever sure as soap is soap wouldn't be a multi millionaire for very long if tours went out at a loss?

Again not defending him here but i always thought the Horsens gigs in paticular odd,why have 2 dates on their own with no other ones to spread the cost around it wasnt a surprise when they got cancelled to be honest. And now for something that wont be popular,Paul or whoever isnt responsible for OUR hotel bills,we're adult,no one bar ourselves makes us go to concerts or whatever event, things happen sadly and there is always a risk that a cancellation could occur, its happened to me and no i didn't like it but i accepted that it was my choice to travel out of my local area and why now i wont travel any further than say Manchester to see a gig nowadays.

Not saying there isn't a hint of truth in the European rumours for June, but the events pages for Last.FM are like Wikipedia, anyone can add all their wishes. Having said that, both in 2011 and 2012 Poland were rumoured including dates and stadiums, but also the only rumoured EU country where he didn't performed in the end, also see this topic: http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=82432 Less than 2 days now!

I believe Paul cancelled Australia because of tension in Asia area ie bombings ( memory's fuzzy not too sure on this one) and /or the nail in our Aussie coffin was the GFC the almighty dollar just didnt stretch this far. It was nothing to do with interest , crowd numbers (or lack of them!!!) Come On Paul Back to Australia Pleeeease! you haven't been here since '92 ! ( and remember Brisbane too this time!)

Why should that surprise you (even "mock" surprise you)? You're one of the main culprits when it comes to hijacking a sensible thread discussion and taking it off into some rubbish direction about his fashion sense or posting some sexual innuendo. You and a lot of others should try staying on topic for a change. This forum has gone downhill quite markedly in the last 12 months.

And you are...? And thank you for demonstrating the very behavior that you've (quite wrongly) accused me of doing. You probably should've thought that one through. Maybe there's a remedial version of this message-board that's more your speed.
