Maybe I'm Amazed out in April
-
It took me four record stores in Vancouver, BC, Canada but my last stop Audiophile had ONE copy and I was near enough to the front of the line (store opened later than the others) to score a copy - I was thrilled! All the earlier stops were sold out. The record sounds GREAT!

My record store sold out at 8:30 in the morning! Good for Macca , bad for me! : I'll just keep drooling over the WOA set in the meantime.

Picked this up today at Lou's Records in Leucadia north of San Diego. Only $4.99. They still have some!
I went back today to try and get a copy for a fellow boardie, but they were all out.

and now they are on ebay in the U.S. for $30-50. i don't think so! what gets me is the people who buy them to resell them rather than letting a real fan enjoy it. such a shame. :

If the remastered WOA sounds half as good as Maybe I'm Amazed I will be amazed, transported, and in total bliss. I know we are all McCartney fans, but WOA is one of the greatest live albums EVER. I have Live at Leeds, Frampton Comes Alive, The Song Remain The Same, Eagles Live, etc, etc, but none of them touch WOA. Not only the performance, but the setlist; it was like going to a great movie. In 1976, Wings changed the way bands tour; not only a great show, but a tremendous event. Everyone, I mean everyone was talking about Wings during 1976; the electricity I felt on opening night in Fort Worth has NEVER been duplicated at any concert I have attended since.
