If the BeatleFan list is in order, then I suspect San Francisco would be the first date, a handful of days after the May 9 show in Brazil.
I'm almost certain the San Francisco date is the Outlands Festival in August...don't think he'd play there twice so close together?
Yes, but someone speculated the list was in order. I don't see how McCartney would do all those shows in the other order, though they may be spread out some.
Bob Gannon said zig-zags...I think we'll all be downright confused when it's announced and their will seem to be no patterns to anything.

If the list of rumours from BeatleFan is true and complete, I'd like to try and go to New York and Washington DC. But when I think of venues, I speculate Madison Square Garden and Verizon Center. Last time he's been in both cities, it's been outdoor stadium shows.
I agree that it will most likely be stadiums - am wondering would he play the MetLife Stadium out in NJ, as he hasn't played there for a while - possibly not since the '93 New World Tour? He's played every other major stadium in the city over the last few years so I'm feeling like he may think it's time. I'll most likely pass if that's where he ends up - I'd seriously consider Italy and/or the UK (which I'd love to do anyway) before doing the Brooklyn / Meadowlands commute, which is usually a nightmare from start to finish. However, I'd gladly sell body parts and/or relatives on eBay if he'd play the Barclays Center!!!

Is it a quicker flight to the UK than a drive to Brooklyn???

If Paul plays Las Cruces, it will most likely be the smallest venue on the tour. Aggie Memorial Stadium will seat about 25,000 - 30,000 for a concert.
-
I suddenly have incredibly low expectations for a show in the UK. I just feel I'm going to be really disappointed again, like last Christmas.

Eh, not necesarily. If there are indoor dates, they're likely to be a pinch less.

Sorry Frankie, I'm just completely swept up in the US rumours till dates are out. You know the feels! I don't think the UK is totally out. I believe in a fall/winter leg returning to Europe and concluding in the UK. As per usual, that's a complete guess though!
-
It just seems like their idea of a 'world' tour and 'going to new places' is rubbish because right now the forecast seems to be mostly American shows. And the only confirmed European dates are more expensive than usual, which means they're only going for the fans with the money. What's happening since the last UK date? - South American shows, American shows, more South American shows, more American shows... the least they could do is give his homeland a few shows in the summer, too. But I bet they won't.

I'm thinking MetLife, possibly Citi Field... Maybe Red Bull Arena... I have a feeling it will be over in Jersey. Don't think he'll be doing arenas, but I would love the Barclays. If he were to do MSG, it would have to be before July, before the renovations, or September, after the renovations. Have you seen a show at MetLife or the Barclays?

Well, I guess all I can say is......the neglect isn't new. I remember all the ranting from the UK fans in 2009 and 2010 that he never does true UK tours, then, he finally did a VERY small one, June 2010, and he seems to stick to the annual London/Liverpool run ever since. Plus, the random Manchester gig for the "On The Run" europe leg in Dec. '11

How many damn rennovations does MSG need?!? :

Extremely disappointed last Christmas too FrankieJ. I love the UK christmas shows!! It's a great time of year to visit the UK....In 2011 I spent 21 days in the UK visitng London (Macca Concert), Cardiff, Edinborough, Glasgow,Sterling, Mull of Kintyre ,back to London (Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel) Backbeat, Swanley, Henley on the Thames (Joe Brown concert), Manchester (Macca show and then Liverpool (macca show) A little more expensive than I thought it would be but a great trip
-
I would love to do the UK Christmas shows, but for the past few years, December has been a horrible month for me to be away from work so I keep missing them. I did manage to sneak away to Ireland for a few days to catch him in Dublin at the O2 in '09, but I couldn't stay long enough to do the UK gigs that came afterwards.
-
I love Dublin as well, great place to see a show!!

announce the bloody thing and get on with it. You know he hasn't played San Diego since 76 with Wings. and he will never play here again although it is the 8th largest city in the US. I always think they rip off the West Coast. All the states in the east are so packed together if you live out there, it's easy to go to more than one show. I have the weather out this way, but no Paul I'd go to Liverpool in a heartbeat to see him. I think it sucks that he doesn't do more in the country of his birth but the money is elsewhere. That does seem evident. I'm rambling. I just want the tour to be announced so I can't get on with my life and not fret about what I'm doing, where I'm going...etc.

Saw Paul twice at the old Giants Stadium - the new MetLife Stadium is very nice but again, just a nightmare to get to depending on where you're coming from. A bus and several trains involved each way for me and at my age, I honestly can't be bothered. Driving out there is even worse (not that I have a car anyway!) - I still hear stories of people spending hours trying to get back from events there - no thank you! Your shout on Red Bull Arena would be *tremendous*, KingMacca - actually, it's brilliant. Seating capacity there is larger than both MSG and Barclays, it's outdoor, easy as pie public transportation for those who want it - can someone float this to Paul's people, please?! I've seen a number of shows at the Barclays Center now - I like it a lot (and yes, would love Macca to play there!) - but think it's too small for this round of shows. He will want to be outdoors and playing for as many as possible. So, fingers crossed it's Citi Field again, slight hopes up that it'd be Red Bull Arena, but gut is telling me Met Life Stadium.

Any idea when the U.S. Shows will be announced? At least the May shows? I would like to make them all, but May is unlikely. I'm good after June.

Sad but true BMusicl....I live in NJ so it's very easy to get to quite a few major cities easily...Atlantic City 45 minutes, New York (60 minutes) Philadelphia (50 minutes) Boston 4.5 to 5 hours), Conn...3 hours, Washington D.C. 3 1/2 hours. Last time he really did alot of West Coast dates that I can remember was the 2005 tour he did 7 dates in Cali. But we do have a distinct advantage here being so closely together and having major cities close by
