I'm not going to recommend 6th St. because of the congestion although there are a lot of bars and clubs for people who want drinks. I think the Kerbey Ln. restaurant on S. Lamar would be good to get a taste of that "keep Austin weird" kind of groove. They don't serve hard liquor but do have beer and wine. Anyone other recommendations?

I'll be at the Austin show too. So excited! If you see a white truck with "love you Paul" written on the windows at the Trinity Garage...that's me...hahahaha! Arriving about 3 hours before show (off work at 445p, then will just go ahead and park). I'd recommend Kerbey Lane as a great place to go after show. ...great breakfast food, beer, wine, etc. Yum! Hope I'll be up for doing something after show, will be totally wiped out, I'm sure. Martha

How's the weather in Austin? I just came from Orlando(first show) it was abit hot but not too bad. At least it didn't rain..

Rain moved out of Austin yesterday. It's supposed to be in the low 90s this afternoon. Do you think getting to the Drum (Erwin Center) as late as 7:00 will be early enough to get in on time?

there's always a line to get inside so that's probably fine but you might have to park someplace further away and more expensive.

Have fun tonight, people of Austin!

He's late, again...
I saw this discussion before, but that's not 'late' to me . It's a rock and roll concert, no cinema.

No soundcheck news from anyone?

Just seen a couple of videos on vine from Eight Days a Week and Junior's Farm. I rather not get into a fight again so I'm not commenting on the audience this time
