I don't think they can get away with this "we're going to places we've never been to before" thing if this tour is going to be primarily America again. It's not a world tour at all. It's led us to believe it will be different, but it seems like it won't be really. Maybe they should realise that they should stop chasing the dollar and start thinking "Hmm. Paul is loved all over the world. Paul is also 70. He's not got many years of touring left. Maybe we should share him out fairly to his fans so they can see him while they still can."
They are all full of #@^# aren't they?
I agree with you guys. But I wonder if he even knows about some of this. He probably just goes where they tell him they booked him.
Surely he can't be that detached or dense.
He's said in the past that he only uses the internet for email...

Do you have his address?

I haven't seen this video yet, but the text below it indicates that Austin counts as one of those "places they've never been before:" The "Out There" tour will see Paul and his band travel the world throughout 2013, visiting both places of historical significance to Paul and -- as in the case of Austin and Warsaw -- new spots for the very first time.

But he knows where he has and hasn't been, for goodness' sake!
ETA: Paul also picks some of, if not all, the places he's playing.

Well, you aren't missing much... So useless.

Who said that? I highly doubt that. How would he know what is available or what is being built in Poland or South America? He has people to do that.

The "historical significance" part makes me wonder if the San Francisco rumor pertains to Candlestick Park and not the previously mentioned festival.

I'm sure his people bring him possible places, but he picks where he wants to go. He doesn't have time to do the research
, but I'll be darned if he's not a Type A personality and picking the places he'd most like to play at. It's been in a few articles.

If he knew how upset the people were in Horsens then he'd pick there.

They mention Bob Gannon in that article, over 100 shows and counting! impressive!!
Very impressive indeed! I wonder whether he has ever been to any of Paul's concerts in South America?
There are actually quite a few board members in the 100+ club, not just Bob. People just don't talk about it.

Not if he can't sell it out.
He's a performer, yes, but also a businessman.

Wish Cleveland was a destination! He hasn't been there since 2002?

It's the Rock N' Roll capital, he has to come here soon doesn't he?!!

Does anyone have an idea when the Seattle date is? I wonder if the Nirvana cats will show up? Any Idea on when Seattle will happen is greatly appreciated.

There has honestly been no word whatsoever outside of the initial BeatleFan leaking of dates.

that might be a treat or a stereo type

I'm really surprised he's not stopping at Cleveland this time around. He did 2 shows in a year back in 2002, and it's been neglected ever since! Hard to believe it's been 11 years since that tour!!

I hear you on the no mention other than Beatlefan, but that's sort of been the case with Austin, which only the day before the official annoucement was tipped (aside from that Beatlefan list). DC is similar, and that Beatlefan list mentioned Canada shows, and walla, there are two rumoured cities, even with dates... So it does appear that despite cities on the initial Beatlefan run-down not being tipped elsewhere, aside from Memphis, several of those first mentioned shows are in fact being announced later, seemingly just before official announcements. I want to have hope for Seattle. Key Arena would be nice, just a few days before the Outside Lands...

I don't have any doubts it'll happen! It's just a matter of when.
