Guys, that's nice in theory but that would be taking away seats from people who already bought them. You gotta be diligent, constantly watching these sales if you don't want to miss anything. I got my email late too... but I'd been watching the sites regularly just in case.
I wouldn't think of taking seats away from those who were lucky enough to get them. We all know that seats are always held back for various reasons. That being said, I was the first one on another board to announce that tix would be made available shortly as I saw a commercial for the concert on TV. I didn't want any of my Paul friends to miss out. I checked this site, the Red Sox site and the Live Nation site over and over to see when tix would go on sale, but eventually I had to go to sleep... I was sure I'd be notified by email by PM.com, though, being a member. I was hoping that they'd worked out the email problems that occurred 2 years ago when I purchased Yankee stadium tickets. I am aware that the Premium memberships were done away with, and that that wouldn't afford me extra early notice. I was just venting about the $50.00. I guess 2 years wasn't enough time to fix the email problem... :
Hi. We email out, update the Maccaboard and Paul's social networks as soon as we get the information. The emails can take a few hours to distribute as it is being sent to literally hundreds of thousands of fans across the US. The best advice we can give is as soon as you see a date you would like to go to - in this instance in Boston - keep checking Paul's website and social network sites as often as possible. As soon as we get the information we pass it on to you.

Or NEVER - as I said above, I never got any email about Boston, and I do receive other emails from the site--so yes I am registered, I check my spam filter, etc. etc.. And that is why, at least where the presales are concerned, I no longer rely on an email to give me the information.

These tickets are not good, if you want to see Paul with your eyes.

Sorry, I may be naïve as to the workings of the "hundreds of thousands" of emails that were sent out to the U.S., but why wasn't notice of the presale posted on Paul's website in advance of the sale? The Red Sox and Live Nation posted their presale info in advance. That way we'd all have a chance to purchase the best tickets. Or perhaps people living closer to Boston should have received emails first, so that the scalpers throughout the rest of the country didn't get first pick. I may get heat over this, but I believe many of Paul's fans got the shaft, such as the member who never even received an email. I wonder if Paul is aware of how his website handles the presales...

I feel for you. No, I don't think Paul is made aware of how the ticket sales are handled. I've learned the hard way you basically have to sit at your computer or buy an expensive package if you can't do that. The last few times I've seen Paul, I've ended up with a package for this very reason. If you don't get in to Crowd Surge or don't understand how it works or don't like paying foreign transaction fees, you're not going to be happy.

and that is just a shame.

I couldn't agree more. I sit at my computer and keep checking constantly when I even hear a rumor about a concert. I just happened to click on the red sox ticket site and see that the VIP tickets were about to go on sale, otherwise I would have missed first pick at that. After attending several concerts, I've found that the great seats are pretty much all about luck, timing or research. Sounds kinda crazy to go through so much effort for concert tickets but... that's how you get the seats. If you get any seat at all you'll be thankful when July rolls around and lots of people don't even have that.

I don''t understand, I have been signed up on this site for a long time and I haven't received any e-mails about presales on any concert. I may not be going to Boston or Huston but if he comes closer to where I live I might go but the point is some say they get the e-mail 3 hours late, I'm not getting them at all and I have signed up. Do you have to keep signing up for each new addition to the tour?
-
To get the emails, you now have to be signed up at the new site. http://www.paulmccartney.com/ Do it quickly so you see if you get the emails.

Memphis is being announced early Monday morning, so I would check here as well as the venue's web site for the latest information. http://www.fedexforum.com/homepage.aspx And, of course, keep this bookmarked: http://www.paulmccartney.com/live/27468-out-there

My 'notification' came in 3 hours and 38 minutes after the fact. I would be curious to know why this is the case.
Me too! Why can't they all be sent around the same time so we all get the same chance at tickets!
My email notice was 3 hours late as well!!!!! Get with the program MPL!
Mine was 3 hours LATE also! I am furious! The Administrator should contact us and provide us access to the best seats like the ones that were sold at 9AM!
I wouldn't be "Too Furious" with Admin.. as you just joined April 2013~

I've been a member forever and stopped getting emails/notifications, plus I was a premium member at the new failed site. Starting to not be worth the stress.
