Where is that? Is there a picture of it?

Just looked on Amazon US site and I am seeing a price of $68.38, it says two discs, import from Japan and I don't see the one double that. The photo of the package looks the same . Usually, an import from Japan is more expensive, so this isn't making any sense. Sorry, not good at doing links.
Sounds like you're looking at the Japanese import of the standard edition, which Amazon is offering for $14. Here's the link for the deluxe set: http://www.amazon.com/Wings-Over-America-Deluxe-McCartney/dp/B00C8985DU/ref=sr_1_2?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1365537613&sr=1-2&keywords=wings+over+america+deluxe It was $95 when I pre-ordered it this morning. Now it's $140. I think $95 is an OK price though I was ideally hoping it would drop to $75 or $80 -- like Ram. But really, I don't think there's any need to get worked up yet about the price. Amazon does this all the time, adjusting prices up and down based on demand. Just keep checking.
oh crap! You are lucky that you ordered it this morning. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...everything with him lately is money money money. How could the price have increased that much.

How about a free ticket to a show near by,since he's coming to Seattle and I can't afford both.. over 300 bucks
I don't think they'll charge that much for the deluxe set. Unless of course they don't want anyone to buy it. There always seem to be crazy prices mentioned at first -- maybe it's a sales tactic. They mention $300 initially so that when the REAL price is revealed, we all go, "Oo0hh, that's not so bad." I'm guessing it'll be $100 to $125 on Amazon.
I meant both ,Amazon $ 149

Well I'm glad I pre-ordered early. I just checked the price again on Amazon for the WOA deluxe set, and it's now listed at $140!!! When I pre-ordered it at 11:30 a.m -- barely 4 hours ago -- it was $95. At least I'm guaranteed that price. Sorry but $140 is just too high. There must have been a lot of people pre-ordering. Amazon often raises the price if there are a lot of pre-orders. But it should drop down again.
I"m glad I did too. when I ordered, it was $95.

I've seen these Japanese imports from Amazon before preorders. I usually don't order them myself. I remember someone asking about it here and even MPL wasn't sure about them

Oh, I missed that. I preordered from his site before and had no problems. I should have done that.

do we know if it will be possible to buy Wings Over America and Rock Show from Paul's official site? I find it quite odd that the info email links to the pre order site at Amazon?

Don't think it's a subscription thing, that's a teaser trail at the moment hopefully there'll be more details soon... Martin

I think that is very cool idea! a re-launch of the fun club...
-
Interesting that the Deluxe version is outselling the standard. Deluxe is in the top 20, while the standard version is #394...At least for today.
-
This is very, very discouraging. For me, $140 is way out of my price range. It's for people with disposable income only. How nice. - Bitter Betty

Has anyone seen a uk price for the deluxe edition ?

in musical contents, this is highly disappointing ... ultra-expensive bells and whistles, but no music - is thast the state of today's music business?
Why in the world are you disappointed with over 2 hours of live music? WOA didn't need any extra musical content and we ended up getting 8 tracks of unreleased audio. Picky picky.
It adds 8 alternative live versions of songs already on the main album. That's the only musical addition to the existing alum. All the other additions to it (which are a lot!!) are non-muscial. I prefer music as the product produced by musicians. Ah well, you'll shoot me down for that.

The whole package looks amazing.Really pulled out all the strings for this one.Brilliant.

The only conclusion that I can draw is that there is simply no existing content -- in terms of music -- that could be added. WOA is '76-era Wings' entire setlist. Even "Soily" was added to the encore late into the tour. I don't think that there are any "one-offs" or special performances/bonuses that could be added to this release. However, I see your point in a way: So much packaging material in this collection, and, yet, only a fraction of it is audio.

WHO ORDERED THEIR COPY OF THIS GREAT CONCERT EVENT???? I DID!!! I DID!!! I DID!!! That was the touring event event where the media asked that one question, "WHEN ARE THE BEATLES GETTING BACK TOGETHER? WHEN ARE THE BEATLES GETTING BACK TOGETHER?"
