LOL, I'll do it!
Sweet! How 'bout everyone else?!?! It's time we finally get to hear this song live!! And with losing Phil Ramone and Hugh McCracken, who both worked on this track, it would be a very fitting tribute for Paul to play it now

blue jay hey:
hands across the water baby
hands across the water indeed! let's keep sending submitting that question!!

Oh Yeah!

I'd love to hear this live, but do you think his voice can handle it? I imagine Abe can help back him up on the "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAANDS" part, but I'm not sure. All things being equal, diminished range or not, Paul's voice sounds amazing live. He has, on multiple occasions, sung "Maybe I'm Amazed" better in the past three years than he did in 1989/90. IMHO, of course.

Would be great to hear it, but not sure wether he can pull it off, there's only one way to find out Paul!

There is no doubt in my mind that he can handle this song and the band can certainly back him up on the higher parts! Besides, 70,000 people will be singing along so Paul won't even have to worry about us noticing about the odd cracked note here or there... cause we don't care!!

Agreed! 89/90 was actually the roughest version of "Maybe I'm Amazed", IMHO. Sure, it's a harder song for her to pull off but it still sounds great and, as far as I'm concerned... it's Paul McCartney singing it... I don't care if it sounds exactly like the record!!

I must be the only one that doesn't want to hear this in concert.. Never liked it, never will. Carry on

I'm actually not a fan of "Uncle Albert..." but after thinking about it, I've concluded it would be a great, surprising show opener. It's familiar enough that the casual fans would recognize it, while the more hardcore types like the regulars on here would go absolutely nuts. It starts quietly but builds to a rousing chorus that everyone would sing along with. Perfect opener, really, even though it'll never be my favorite.

I think lyrically and musically it works besy in an encore, it would also be a big missed opportunity for an ipener like V&M/Rockshow or MMT which really get the crowd going. I would much rather hear Backseat of my car or Silly Love Songs th

I agree... I picture it working better in an encore as well... THAT SAID... I'd gladly take it as an opener or anywhere Venus & Mars/Rock Show has and always will be the best opener IMHO!
